the whole world stops and stares for awhile..
Kellin had been in a daze since his encounter, truth be told. It felt wrong to be this kind of distance from that girl in the water, but he had no idea where she went. He had been wandering around in the freelands for days trying to make sense of it all, but all that he knew was that he wanted to see her again. Eventually he would. He believed in that, though he needed to talk about this situation. Needed to find Sabriel and see what his older brother might have to say to him about it. Surely he would have advice on the matter, right? Kellin had been searching for that one elusive thing for so long, and he wondered if perhaps he had finally found it at last. Had he? Was this it? And how did he keep it from fading away?

Where did his life belong now? He needed to find his way again, and he knew he had told Sabriel he'd be there for the gypsies and he still was. He just.. felt like everything had still changed for him now. It was sudden and confusing to him, but he would hold onto it, find out all he could on the matter and go from there. Find Sabriel and see what could be found out from his older brother. So he moved along, searching for Sabriel's scent. It would undoubtably be somewhere in one of the freelands, since that was where the gypsies stayed most of the time. Without a group, they could not just going into a packland without being one of the pack. It was a strange rule, but one Kellin accepted.

Into the woodland he went, tracing a scent from his brother and hoping it led the the thin and tall male. Eventually he did spot his older brother up ahead and picked up his pace, stepping in beside his brother and glancing upwards. "So.. some family is still around in the forest pack. Mostly half siblings, though." A pause and he was wondering how exactly to bring up the girl and how strange it was. The way he felt, even though it was a stranger. "And there's a girl.. I don't know why I feel like I do when I'm around her. I don't even know anything about her but I want to be close to her, and I feel strange when she's not around.." Kellin looked a little abashed at the words and how they made him sound. But it was true, and he didn't understand it.
