Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

When I hear another coming, I snap my head around, wagging my tail when I see a female I don't recognize but I can smell the strong scent of Glorall on her so I know she's a pack member. I dip my head in greeting to her, eager to hear her name so I can memorize it. I don't know hardly any of my pack mates save those I hunted with so I should probably work on that. She trots over and stops beside me and I feel my heart race a little at the thought of feeling included in something. Finally, something besides the hunt that makes me feel like pack. She introduces hersef as Cersei and I note that name for later. She welcomes the white female to Glorall and I wag my tail again.

The female beams at both of us, seemingly eager to get to know us. She introduces herself as Sway of Spirane and asks to learn a little about the pack. I tilt my head, ears pricked forward to give her my full attention. She wants to know what the pack stands for and what kind of wolves live here. At least she seems hopeful that Spirane and Glorall can be allies again. I glance at Cersei, wondering if she has something better to add before I smile. "From what I've seen of the changes in Glorall so far, I think the pack mostly stands for new beginnings. A fresh start. Eden takes in all kinds of wolves, from the sheepish to the ones that feel out of place everywhere else. He hands out opportunities to better yourself and then steps back to give you the chance to take it on your own. He's not a coddler but he's a fair leader. The pack is unified through pack activities instead of just familial bonds. We are our own family." I glance over at Cersei again, my eyes silently asking if there's something she'd like to add or change. Perhaps she knows another side of Glorall or Eden.
