PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

. All Hail the Pirate Queen .

take my soul leave my freedom
-i'll be glad to die a pile of pirate bones-

The other mare was of stockier bloodlines to Ysabella's desert kinfolk. Her skin was dark, a stark contrast to the minx's own buckskin and ash tainted skin. The femm was also older than Ysabella, and she seemed perturbed to be interrupted in her musings atop the ice capped mount. The desert born thief could relate, she had once bore a crown and called herself the ruler of a mountain. The peaks above all else was where she did her musings, her scheming, where she prayed and cried, and briefly exposed her weaknesses. Of course this stranger was entitled to her own business here on the mountain in the frigid cold, Ysabella herself at present was thinking of warmer climates and a spring that was taking too damn long to come.

Ysabella was an observant and perceptive lass, her sharp ears pricked and alert as the mare turned and addressed her. There was something of the way her head tilted. The Pirate Queen had her suspicions but spoke nothing of them, instead honing in on two things. One was that the mare was bold enough to introduce herself as the Prime Minister, whose name was Impazienza. Secondly, the woman had very specifically referred to the mountain as her own. So the Beautiful Dagger of the Mount of the 1087 Thieves could safely presume she was speaking to a mare with some clout here at the Peak. There was also an unmistakable pride in the draft mare's tones.

A curve formed on the Pirate Queen's ashy lips as she stepped closer so that they would not have to talk over the winter winds. "I am Ysabellanazeka from the Mount of 1087 Thieves, of the deserts of Calphir." She highly doubted the large mare would know of Calphir or anything of the mystical world of lion and misfit from which the Pirate Queen hailed. Just the same, Ysabella was also proud to speak the name of the lands that had birthed her, the place of the promised ones under the Sacred Stars. "I've come a long way to these islands, and a greater distance to come to the Peak and your mountaintop to find you. I have brought along a stallion as an offering of my loyalty to the Peak. I cannot imagine fitting anywhere else." The sand and ash coated lady waited now, studying the other mare's response in light of what the Pirate Queen had said.
