She nodded in agreement. New was certainly a good assessment of her status within Shaman. Most people she had met had been here much longer than she had been. Not that they had been unwelcoming or condescending about it, but it did make her feel oddly better that others also were just learning their way around.

Whimsy finished the piece of fudge she was eating, letting the sweetness sit on her tongue. Nectar had been as sweet, but it was more difficult to get, fluttering place to place. She did not comment on how they grew fudge, for Whimsy had no idea. Maybe a certain kind of flower? Or root? And she took another offered piece. "Yes, like school. I've never been to school before. Mostly, I'm learning about clothes" she says gesturing at her colorful clothes. Simple though they were they had been the result of her work, practice with embroidery, dyes and beads, and she was proud of them even as she was embarassed by her still simple knowledge. "I really like colors" she adds, defending her choice a little for she really hadn't been sure what she wanted to learn, it just seemed to fit best for now.

Her own experience had been that school was for humans. And she had not been human. Maybe she had been a little jealous, or perhaps just curious. Whimsy looked a bit concerned at Cal when she started coughing, and Buddy had to hit her back to get it to go down right. "Erm, I don't have a familiar yet." She scuffed a toe across the ground. Whimsy was not sure if this was normal or not. She assumed eventually she would have a familiar. "So what have you been up to since arriving here?" she says, trying to continue the conversation, now that she had talked so much about herself and school.
