Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

I couldn't be proud of my brother for reaching the rank of Witch within the pack. Sure, it sounds like a female position but I won't hold that against him. He's making something of himself. I guess I'm going to have to catch up soon enough. That will mean talking to Eden and he intimidates the hell out of me. I know Solitaire talks to him on occasion so maybe I should ask him how Eden is in person. I smile when he tells me that I did good but I shrug, ever the modest one. "I just held onto it's leg. I wasn't the brave one who went for the head." I grin at him, my eyes twinkling with good nature. I laugh when he goes along with the Daisy joke. I knew he wouldn't get offended.

"Yeah, I guess it could." I agree. I laugh even more when he goes back at me by saying he hopes a mouse pees on my tail. My eyes widen and I pretend to look offended, snapping my head around to look at my tail in disgust. "How dare you curse me like that! My tail is PRICELESS." I try to sound as vain as possible though we both know it's not in me. Instead I end up breaking down in laughter. "Or maybe it'll just make me smell better, huh?" As he crinkles his nose, I prick my ears in interest, listening as he confesses. I scowl and nod in understanding. "Yeah, that does suck. But at least you get to make it better and you don't have to stand around helpless like the rest of us mere mortals." I say, trying to reassure him.

When I splash him in the water, he yells and glares at me but I only laugh harder. As I play bow on the snd, he does the same before me and I bark before lunging forward to tackle him in the sand. I go to tug at his ears and lick all over his face, laughing as I then leap off and take off across the sand. "Come on, Daisy. Catch me if you can!" I call out over my shoulder.
