Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

LONHRO: the night terror

zero/tobias x flare/loner

The collision of Brother against him sees his hold upon his prize weakened, though he manages it still, dragging the torn limb away to the darkness of the shade before he curls about it the way a viper curls about a mouse, hissing his descent before he turns to nibble at it as he has seen the adults do. He is learning- slowly, those emerald eyes forever watchful of the world around him and the adults he has come to mimic as he does. His mind is clever, cunning, intelligent in the manner upon which it seizes so readily upon new information and though he feigns disinterest in what is occurring outside the den those dark little eyes lift beyond his curled tail to watch as Brother and Sister rest outside it. For a moment he simply stares, clinging still to his single piece of torn rabbit flesh, ebony ears pricked forward atop his skull to listen to the offered words of Sister as she lays the rabbit before her.

It is not until her lips part to seize the neck of the already dead prey that the boy is given move, lifting suddenly from his place to lope closer, his torn rabbit limb forgotten as eyes grow wide and ears stand at attention atop his skull, evident curiosity existing now though he lingers still outside the reach of Sister all the same, Lonhro far less inclined to touch then his sibling as his gaze fixates upon the dead and glassy eyes of the prey. It is almost as if he waits for it to move, as if her bite should inspire some motion within the creature, a look of confused displeasure drifting now across those blackened features as one paw reaches out to strike at the dead creature- the ebony puppy leaping away once more in clear anticipation of its movement. Yet still the creature disobeys him now, the boy confused it would seem, between life and death, living and dead as his gaze turns now upon his brother in search of some form of direction it would seem.

When none comes however the boy returns to staring, emerald gaze fixated upon the rabbit before him once more, mind struggling to perceive what has occurred before him, whatever tendrils of thought exist attempting to join with one another in this moment to provide him with answers before his jaws part- reluctantly in some almost desperate seeming attempt to vocalize what he desires.

“Issssssssssss broke?”
