She continues to follow him, a beauty in the rain with a beast growing seemingly deranged. The sky was angry on this day. It boomed and threw itself around even more violently as they continued on. Honestly, she did not know where she was right now as they got closer and closer to Glorall. The rain dulled her senses. All she could hear was the loud hiss of water clashing against earth and itself. The world was dark from the clouds covering any hint of sun. Only lightning managed to lightened the world, but only for a second.
Her rainbow eyes flickered about, attempting to get a hold of where they were. She wasn't paying enough attention, and she did not have the sun to guide her on where east and west was. It was frustrating, but it was not his fault. Her eyes diverted back to him, seeing her beastly he walks, and knowing how light and graceful she loped despite the rain trying to pull down her form to the earth. Her ears flash forward when it seems he tries to speak, but the earth and sky scream too loud for her to hear anything. She did not even bother attempting to respond. She simply followed. The land then begins to look perhaps familiar again, but just as it does he suddenly turns, and his jaws nip at her, and she jumps away. Her brows furrow, her teeth flashing just as thunder roars. She knows not that she moves into Glorall with each step. She feels a moment of hesitation, not knowing what she should really do. She wanted to prove herself, but his jaws now come towards her again and she moves away, knowing he may be dangerous...but doesn't that mean as a good assassin she should do what she must to investigate him? But, does he intend to harm? She figures he would go for her throat by now, but instead he rams her with his shoulder.
She feels a puff of wind slightly come out of her. Her tail begins to crawl between her legs as she snarls, her form making a lope away from him, and then her legs break into a run. She is light, and she is built for running, but her practice in running in a storm is extremely limited. She heads info Glorall, her lungs greedily sucking up air as she looks for where she could possibly go. He is on her tail, and then she slips. This gave him the opportunity to shove her in the direction he wished. His actions were odd and they made no sense to her, but not much was making sense right now. Rain was falling so hard, her senses were so dulled and her head felt like it was spinning.
Her legs burned and her form felt exhausted. He was relentless and she knew not what to do now. There was no running, not in this rain as mud covered her dark fur now. She went where he wished at the end not far from the den, not looking at where he snaps at her. When her thin form arrived at where he desired she saw the den. She knew she probably should not enter but she is tired, and simply laying down sounded nice. Yet her body initially resists until he forces her in. He is stronger than her, so much stronger and she finds herself within the darkness of the earth.
She whirls around once she is in, her eyes glow fierce as he blocks the entrance. She stares at him, knowing there are walls all around, and then he says his name- Underidge. She stays silent for a moment, muscles still tense but her form is sore and lowers to the ground. She does know what is happening, not really, as things do not feel so real right now. She went from exploring, to finding shelter from the rain, to being trapped in a den of a stranger. Her mind spun and the world seemed to be a dream, seeing his silver eyes upon her. She gathered her voice, attempting to sound as calm as possible although perhaps a bit shaken. It was easier to hear now, in this den.
"What do you want, Underidge?" she asks, staring him in the eyes with her rainbows. The darkness covered her, and only a sliver of light crossed her gold-smudged forehead. He could not keep her here forever- she would escape, she just needs a rest and the right moment. |
