It didn’t take long, at least, not really- for a black female to arrive. Clearly she had no prior engagement if she was willing to answer my call so quickly at yet truly I would had to think I had interrupted her unfortunate face convention. I felt my own lip lift slightly in response, her features rather…..shocking I suppose. At least Covet seemed to retain most of his facial features, maybe he had ridiculous eyes but the rest of him was mostly intact in comparison to this female. For half a moment I almost reconsidered my purpose here, I mean really, the creature looked as if she was having rather the bad day- although, I had walked all the way here and it would be so very unfortunate to have to walk all the way back without having achieved anything. It would just be a walk then wouldn’t it? As for my stepping over her border line again and again she hardly seemed perturbed, my own lip lifting upward in amusement before I returned my paw to my myself, one leg crossing over the other as I sat before offering the creature a nod by way of greeting. So this was the conqueror of the fields then. She was an older female but by no means aged looking, although really by the time I came of age to take my fields she would surely be too old for any real battle- unfortunate really, I think I would have enjoyed a spar with her. Hmm, I would just have to wait and see I suppose. Such thoughts were irrelevant now anyway.
“Yes, I did call. I am Hyrule, of Orion and Neveah.”
Why it was considered proper to include your parents names in a formal greeting I truly don’t know, she surely wouldn’t know them and as such she surely wouldn’t bother to care. For the sake of custom however I was willing to forgo the logic, white and silver form sitting neatly before her still as my red-backed ears pricked forward to see if she offered any further words before waiting for me to go on, my own form lifting up now to stand before her before gesturing lightly to the side and stepping forward.
“Walk with me.”
I moved to start forward, not really giving her a choice as to whether she wanted to or not, if he wanted to hear what I had to say (and I suspect she did) she was going to have to walk me now wasn’t she? There was no malice in my actions, at least, not really, I had no desire to scout her lands or anything nearly so ridiculous, I merely liked to walk and talk, I liked to be busy, to move my limbs and so she was simply going to have to keep up. Besides, I was here to offer her a proposal of sorts provided she had the intelligence to look beyond a yearling child.
“I predicted, about a year ago now, that Jaidah would fall from Asteraia. It was a lucky guess really but when I heard it had happened I wanted to see who it was that took it from her and I’m surprised, let’s say.”
I paused once more, lips pulled into a rather dashingly handsome grin as I waited for her to reach me before continuing on along the border line once more, long limbs striding effortlessly and yet still not holding the grace they eventually would- the blessing of perfect blood takes some time to show you know.
“I have a proposal for you, an alliance of sorts, though not with Diveen. I might be from that pack but I am not here in regards to any business to do with that at all. I am here as myself and no other. I am after a personal alliance- though before we talk business I think we should do something about your wounds. I’m Diveen’s healer, I’m not all that good but I know enough to stop the infection your going to get in those wounds. I suppose I could heal them for you- if your willing to hear me out while I do?”
One eye lifted, waiting, expectant of her answer. Maybe she would send me away, maybe she had no desire to help but for what I had planned, well, she was far better being my friend then my enemy….
