I have been a member of Lunar Children for almost four years. For almost as long as I have been a member of the site, I have been a member of the staff. I have never quit or gone on a long term hiatus. I've had times of spotty activity, as we all do, but since September of 2011 my name has always been on that members page - from Old to New. I travel and move quite frequently, and I've always counted the LC community as my only constant friends in all of that. As some of you may know, and some of you may not, last week I was kicked off of Lunar Children's team of staff. This is what they thought was best for the site. I was told that my behavior was inappropriate and made the members of the site uncomfortable. A piece of artwork, which I equated to vent art and a piece of what could be referred to as 'fan-fiction' in company with my explanation of the piece, which never used the name of any member or character of LC other than my own, warranted my removal from staff. I took my frustrations off of LC and expressed them elsewhere - not here - and was then punished for that. My hurt feelings had hurt someone else's feelings. I was not given any kind of formal warning or forewarning that my behavior leading up to this point would warrant my potential expulsion from staff. This action on my part negated all of the hard work I have put into LC over the past three years and some-odd months. It has been a week since this happened, and I feel as if I am not welcome back here in any context, that many members of the site have lodged complaints about me for who knows how long (which is your right), that you'd all be happier if I just left entirely, and that I've completely lost that group of friends I thought I could always count on no matter where I am in the world.

This post is not meant to spread dissension, create more drama, or campaign to reinstate me; and I'm not looking for a pity party or long posts detailing why I should stay or go. It is simply me trying to air out what has happened, figure out where I stand, and find out if it is felt that LC would be a better place if I just left altogether. I am at a loss of what to do. I want to continue to write, but I don't feel like I am wanted here. It will break my heart to lose Daenerys, Maddox, Sleekwing, Vesper, TYD, Asariel, and all my other characters here, but if it is what the community wants, then I will go and I will not trouble you any further. I do not know how long this will stay up, or if it will be branded as inappropriate and removed as soon as its posted. I'm not trying to put anyone out or make them uncomfortable. No one should feel obligated to reply to this.

Sidenote: The Facebook group I had created to allow for social interaction has been deleted. This was not done out of malicious intent, merely because anything that staff could not 100% eradicate my access to has already been replaced.
