The area looked familiar as she paced into it, and it only took a few moments of filtering in the different scents to realize why that was. Moladion. It had been some years since she had been here, and she remembers there was family in the area. It changes very little in her mind, but it was a good of a place as any to settle down for the impending Winter. Hopefully the prey would be plentiful and there would be dens in good locations to lay claim to. Lex had only grown more wild in her time away from most others, and it suited her to be this way. She still remembered a great deal of things from the past, the very fact that she had meant to be more of a historian than anything back then. She did not think in the vast array of emotions as others did, or perhaps it was that she simply did not give into them.

Either way, she had taken on a different sort of lifestyle than she had intended to do when younger, but her youth was often about wandering and learning cultures. A preamble of how something had changed within her after the years kept passing and there was nothing to show for it. She had tried another way from digging into the depts of what she had learned of others, and applied a lifestyle to herself that thus far seemed to be working out. Hold ties forged in blood and let only the strongest survive. Romantic love held no place within her heart, and only one creature had earned a place there. A daughter that she had named only after a year had passed and survival had been the outcome. The other two pups had failed, and were no longer remembered save for the fact that there had been those to ensure the remaining daughter's place.

Raptor was close by, of this much Lex is certain. There was rarely a time when either of them strayed far from the other, though that was possible to change in the months to come. Not something she needs to bother herself with right now, so she shoved the thoughts aside and kept moving quietly into the woodlands, pulling from memory what it had been like here before. It helped to direct her limbs in the right direction so she did not stray into a packland, to keep herself roaming through the trees. This was the type of place that Raptor would like best, and Lex had to agree. Lush foliage was appreciated by both of them. For now this would do, but they would roam more as the days went on. Getting used to all the immediate surroundings was the best course of action, after all.
