Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

It seemed strange, to be moving away from the den they had shared. Odd to be going out with her and his brother. The incessant wheezing that comes from Ansel has been drowned out by ears that are accustomed to the sound. Still, eyes drift over to his sibling as they make their way with Mother. He has no idea where they are going, but having grown up without a very clingy mother, there is no real thing to tell him to be worried. Instead, the boy is curious about the sand and the beach line they come to, his face alight with curiosity and that edge of anger. He says nothing in response to his mother, his apparent worry over the surroundings assuaged for now, though he does feel that prick on his neck that says he should be otherwise.

Oblivion looks back at his mother, though her form retreats away from him. Irritated by the unannounced turn around, the young boy moves to follow after Naamah, despite her hunting. But, now he has the chance to solve more curious problems. Now the young one can find out the other half of himself. Naamah was not an overly affectionate wolf, and she stayed her distance most of the time, but Oblivion still would take her company over that of a complete stranger. Even if the stranger did make him. "Mother! Wait! I want to hunt with you!" He hollers as he runs for her vanished form. His nose is not like his brother's, and he can track his mother. Off into the wilds he goes in search of her, though she may not wish to see him again. To Oblivion, she was the best mother. To her sons, she is the only parent they know. She can't leave them with strangers while she goes to hunt!
