Xenia does not care for the company of others. She has come to the understanding that most wolves are emotional and speak too much, so she avoids them as much as possible.
It is this decision that leads her to the grotto. The maze of caves has a "terrifying" aura about it, according to the energetic yearling she had stopped earlier in the day. She had instant dislike for the child, but had been interested to hear that "nobody visits the grotto, miss, 'cept for them wolves". She had set off in the direction of the caves directly after the conversation and Xenia found herself pleasantly surprised that the yearling had been right. There had been quiet snarling echoing through a few caves but there was utter silence for the most part.
The woman set out through the caves and, unfortunately, found others. Quite a few others. Charcoal lined eyes narrowed on the gathering, curiosity being the only thing keeping her from turning around. She hovered for a moment before folding her hind legs underneath her, not understanding what this gathering was for. This could be one of those imprint gatherings, as she had heard them called? Xenia was unsure, but if her guess was correct, she'd be more than happy to observe the immediate effects of imprinting on wolves.
