The Grotto

Disaster has struck!
Years ago, an earthquake broke open several entrances into a deep, winding series of subterranean systems. It was thought that deep below, underground rivers snaked their way below Moladion. Now, flooding in the Northern reaches of Moladion has proven this theory to be true.

The Grotto is almost entirely submerged. Many of the entrances are completely inaccessible, and those that are only extend a few hundred feet before ending in water. The lower entrances, however, act almost like a giant drain for Moladion. Water pours down into the Grotto's maw as powerful rapids and waterfalls, and large amounts of debris have build up throughout the area. It can be exceptionally dangerous to travel due to the risk of flash-flooding and dams suddenly breaking, but the Grotto does offer the most consistent access across the floodwaters because of those dams.

Note:The Grotto will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

Riot was honestly not the type to cause a fight if he could help it, and thus he would use his words and if she was still acting as if she would attack, then he would go. There was nothing more to it for him, and he had more than enough problems in his life without the need to get into more just now. He had the very frabric of his life's goals probably ripped away from him, and that stung. He didn't think he had the patience to be denied information and deal with an irate female all at once. Just wasn't his idea of a good time, and if he had defending skills, than he would rather use them on the gators of Iromar. They were no meak prey choice by any means, so maybe in that Riot had some fighting skills, but he would rather not have to use them on another wolf.

Riot was not interested in acting like a child of Covet's by any means, though he had to admit to himself if Aithne did fall short of the things he had followed her for, he might have to turn away from all that he had been there. His loyalty was already deep, however, and it caused a rift within himself over the entire matter. Riot had no idea what to think, and was just hoping that maybe he had seen something wrong or it was just a way to.. what? Hold others back? He did not know. From Aithne saying she would not judge his blood to taking away from him the one opened spot to reach for as soon as it was open...? Riot was so much at a loss of how to feel. He could only wait it out for now and just.. have faith in Aithne. If his patience would allow him to wait without asking..

The female had moved to rest on the grotto perch, and Riot waited for an answer. She might still speak to him, but unless she uttered another growl, he would stay and see what she might say to him. She speaks at last, and Riot has to raise a brow at her words. "I did not say you owed me any words, nor do I feel the need to react to all the tunnels and caves of the grotto as if they might be someone's resting place. Many come here to explore. Choosing to den here while knowing that warrants some allowance of passing strangers." He points out evenly. "With that said, I figured you might still linger here, and I was seeking you out. I am gathering information on the wolves who have been attacking others, and wanted to know if you had any." He wouldn't say that her scars led him to believe she did, though.
