Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Solitaire was crushed by the change in Diveen and what it meant for him, and he was honestly shocked about how much he had been looking forward to having children of his own. He had never given it a lot of thought before, as it did not seem as a likely outcome for him with how his life had been. Then the deal had been made and he had been asked to be a part of that. Solitaire had been uneasy about it all at first, and now.. he had put so many hopes into it. He should have known that this could happen, but it never really sunk in that everything could be taken from him in the way of having pups and all. It left him quiet in the aftermath, and he was beginning to avoid everyone. He felt heavy from being so close to something and having it snatched away. He would have been better off never having been a part of any of it. And part of him was furious. A part of him wanted to snatch away what the male that held Diveen had.

Solitaire wanted to make the other one hurt like he was hurting, and that in itself was a stunning revelation for Solitaire to have. Him, a healer, wanting to make someone else suffer. And maybe he would. Maybe this was that straw that would make all the difference. The thing that changed him into something else. He could feel the resentment building, and Solitaire wasn't sure when he might snap. This was new territory for him, and the outlook wasn't looking good. So many things were boiling under his skin, his mind darting through so many different scenerios. Before it was all over, something would have to give, and perhaps no one would see it coming. Maybe it would be expected; but Solitaire wasn't letting the offense go. Solitaire curled himself tightly within his second den, mulling everything over. There was so much to think over, and so many ways to do what he wanted to do here. It all came down to which he would pick and how it all unfolded.
