There was a relief perhaps, a thing most pleasant in placing my paws once more upon the earth of my home and my pack. It is a soothing thing, a balm perhaps, to heal wounds that still burn and cut somewhere within myself. I hold little care for Covet, for he does not exist within my mind in these moments. I cannot find it within myself to offer him forgiveness for the hurt he had brought my Kane or his words that seem so very confused and yet to offer him thought is far to meaningful- so I will not, for in this moment as in all moments since my mind is afflicted with thoughts of those I have lost and for Heyel….not here to see his grandson upon his throne. I simply allow my head to turn from my Kane once more as it is he finds place beside me, for I do not find it so that he should see my eyes fill with tears again. Over and over they come as if they will not stop and for days most long I have simply found it within myself to do little else buy sit quietly with my thoughts and to wonder at the things I feel I have left far to late to wonder at. Yet I had risen this day, found place beside my Kane and with Calliel upon my other side, even my Maddox within our company to return to our home once more for it is right that it should be so. I had risen this day because for each and every year of my reign my sire had stood beside me and I would make it so that for as long as it could be done- I would stand beside my Achilles and offer answer for each question and encouragement for each decision as was once offered to myself for it is being duty of Mother and of Queen to do these things.

I do not allow such tears to fall this day, forcing them to remain within the violet of my gaze for I will not taint this day with anything other then the joy which my Achilles is surely given to feel. Each parent surely strives to see their child succeed and for each and every child my own I felt a love most great and consuming, assured each will find their place as Achilles has today. It is a tihing was pleasant to see Vega rise beside him, to allow my gaze to linger softly upon her with a smile most gentle just for she, for in all things I know she will hold nerves and fears and worries and yet she is of a blood most proud and most strong and I am holding faith in she, my daughter in law, to be just as she must- my head given to incline softly once more to Guardian whom has already found place beneath the small rock that once had sheltered Heyel. Perhaps it is only a sign of my weakness in this that my lip is given to quiver to see Achilles upon such a throne and yet it is not so much with sadness in this moment as it surely is with pride. I cannot be bringing back my Father and yet perhaps- I can be seeing him in those around me and for now that must be enough. I will miss him most greatly, each and every day and yet he is within so many and in that I will take my strength and hold it most close upon my heart as I am given to press closer to my Kane, to hold my shoulder against his own as it is so I am given to stand before our son now, violet eyes inclined towards his own as my head simply dips in the first bow I have ever offered to another- one tainted with sadness and pleasure all the same and yet one that holds meaning most great. For Angels do not bow without cause and while perhaps I am not Angel as many before me it is so I still hold such a name and it is so I am willing to offer my King the respect that he is deserving of.

Besides, I am creating him and I am thinking if it is ever so he is getting far big for his paws then I is telling him so.

“We is being most proud of you, my son. Always my Kane and I is being here to help you, always. Diu Vivat rex.”

The words are whispered softly to he alone before it is I move to step back, to allow my Kane to speak with him should he choose, to seat myself amongst my wolves and my family most loved this day, returned to our home once more to find a peace perhaps- that had not been found even within the beauty of the mountain. I is hoping only in that all I do and in all that has been done- Heyel is being most proud and that those whom is returning from Spirane with myself and Taviora that they is finding peace also amongst us, perhaps we is being Angels, yet always there is place for others beside us. Always.

The Angel crown cannot be passed unless it is made so by the rules of our blood and our family and it is this day that I pass my crown to my Achilles as Heyel once passed it to me so long ago- the third generation of Angel to sit upon our throne and I is thinking perhaps, this is being something to be most proud of. There is much to be done, many to be found, for surely Paravanna need be found, Meryl too and those whom has disappeared in this time of change and those too- whom must be mourned and yet all things in time will come- for there is much to be done and yet I am believing most truly, that with blood most young upon the throne once more- it will be so.
