I have been recluse as of late and who could blame me. When I heard the news all I could do was cry for days on end and snarl at anyone who came near. My father… he had left me had had been murdered for how else could something like this have happened? I wished to be alone, I wished to find the wolf who harmed him and rip their throat from their very neck, but no. I had no leads, no place to go though I combed every inch of that wretched field in an attempt to find some clue… but nothing. Whoever had done it skillfully had covered their trail or masked their scent to make themselves less easy to follow and it had been so long when finally I got word… Oh father… I have failed you. At least… things were somewhat normal at home again.

The pack was bustling again. That wretched Covet while I held my tongue had no idea what he was talking about. He was lucky I didn’t kill him where he stood that day, and Ambrosia, how father doted upon her and how low she had sunk… I really hope she doesn’t still plan to hold to her bargain… where ever she was. She was pretty enough to find any male she desired perhaps it was simply a ruse to simply help get the true angels their home back. It didn’t matter anymore though the “rightful” heir was on the throne and though he was a bit more conceded than I would like it was nice to see one of my sisters children upon the throne. It brought everything back… I am convinced none of this would have happened if that Kane wouldn’t have lost the lands, father would still be with me, with us, I know my own sons and daughter were crushed too… The loved their grandfather and thankfully they had the short amount of time they did with him, I will forever be grateful they knew him at least, knew of his greatness and power first hand for I could never fully describe just how wonderful he…. was. Was… I hated it, he still is the most powerful wolf to ever walk this land and he forever will be in my books. Achilles can try, but I don’t think he will hold a candle to him. Maybe his mother, but even then I question how great he can be… Time will tell.

I know our pack is still a little short staffed. Meryl had yet to return and I wonder where that son of that ass Azrael was. He was useful, but then again he wasn’t the only wolf to know healing in Diveen. I held my tongue for Covet and bless my little Hyrule’s heart he started learning from me to ‘help’ him but I was an accomplished healer I had learned from my mother after all and then that begged the question… Where had she gone? I shook my head thinking that she probably left for the mountain and had yet returned but I worried for her… please by fate I didn’t want to lose both of them. I snort, begging that was not what an angel did and I stand up and begin to march from the den at Achilles call carrying the sparse supplies I still keep around though healing is by far what I prefer to do in my free time. I’m an assassin… a killer, not a healer and I am only doing this because I need something to do.

My black fur is still flawless as ever, my bright jade and violet eyes find the collapsed form of the grey girl and though I am short I still shove past the now ‘King’ to begin examining her wounds. ”Look at this mess you made.” I said motioning to the packed moss on her wounds, nosing off each bit. ”You act like a novice has taught you, you want those wounds infected? She can die you know.” I huff at him, I don’t care if he’s a single year older than me, in my books he is still a child if not for the fact he was still my nephew and apparently was the cause of that foolish Covet’s misguided turmoil.

I begin gently placing the aloe ointment upon her knowing that will help soothe her wounds hopefully enough to slowly bring her back into the world. I always didn’t like healing, I learned it because I wanted to be better than father, and I did learn and now I was here but still it wasn’t what I liked to do. I focus on the bad wounds across her chest and neck, lucky the girl wasn’t dead… the scratches on her are ignorable for now and soon I found myself packing the wounds back with moss.

”There, don’t expect me to clean up these messes all the time though. Hopefully Meryl or mother will come back… or something.” I said with a final huff before turning away. I wasn’t going to stick around, not long anyway I still had a Saintly visit I needed to do today since I didn’t know where father was to visit him.
