Some may frown upon her providing a mountain lion for a sparring partner for a yearling. Yet Life was not fair and neither should her lessons be. If he was going to be learn and develop into a great warrior then he would have to have an unusual training and he would have to be brought up in such a strong way. Some may think that a great warrior was one that relied on their strengths and believed in being brawny. Yet that was a foolish way to think and no great warrior would be something like that if they only thought of their muscle. Rather a great warrior needed to have a strong mind. Every warrior needed to value their intelligence and stretch their minds in order to come up with great strategies. Here Tick Tock was going to allow Cuirass that rare chance to even do such a thing. If he did his lesson well he would not only learn more about himself, what is strength was and what techniques he needed to work on, but he would also learn just how a mountain lion attacked and how he could use its techniques on others. Wolves do not always think outside the box. Wolves will assume their fellow kind will attack and kill as their own species, but it would be wise to come out and up head if he used other fighting techniques to ensure his ability to always have the upper paw. He would be a great warrior, some day, but it would take a lot of work in order to accomplish such a feat.
If she wanted to save Cuirass then she would have stopped the fight all together. Rather she was using herself as a tool providing the boy a chance to rest and pause for a moment. He was young and it was easy for him to use all his energy and not save it. She was giving him a chance to not just save his energy, but actually watch and study his opponent. He seemed to have forgotten such a simple thing when he jumped into the fight without a thought. Perhaps she should have told him why and what he needed to do in this spar. She was no teacher and so she was learning too, and she would remember to tell him these things, next time they would have a fighting session. Though now it was necessary for him to continue his spar and so she would lead the wildcat towards him, hoping from rock to rock as she raced past him only turning around when she heard the sounds of the canine and feline behind her fighting. Silently she stands there watching as the male darts back, rather than forward, snapping away. Sighing softly she shakes her head as she continues to watch approving how he managed to lunge and take her ear forcing the cat to become off-balanced. A loud bark is given as she catches the male looking at her and not at the cat. Her voice loud as she shouts at him.
Am I your opponent? No, no I am not, focus on the cat. Use what you have learned from the cat against her finish her or make her run away.
Really if he continued looking at her then he will end up with a face exactly like hers.
