No one seemed to understand loneliness more so than the fatal female that reigned over the flat lands. Throughout her life time she never had someone she could fully rely on. She did not have a partner. Always she was alone, by herself, with hardly anyone to talk to. She did not mind it. Being aloof did not bring her sadness or gladness either. She was content and subordinate to what Fate had given her. They had cursed her and blessed her all at once. She was quite the clever wolf, she was a steadfast and strong wolf in body, mind and soul. Yet she was burdened with the affliction to destroy others. It was a sick and twisted thing that she rather enjoyed doing, but she was not the senseless killer as others thought her to be. No, she only killed the weak purifying the species. Yet this was a task that was not appreciated and quite easily misunderstood. All wolves obviated the weak from the different species of prey, and this allowed the prey to create stronger versions of their kind maintaining that their species continues to get healthier. She was doing the exact same thing, only, she would eat them and destroy her own kind – acting as she believed was truly natural. Though the majority of other wolves did not see it this way, and so, she decided to maintain a place of sanctuary for all wolves. Whether they were wolves that killed their own kind, to wolves that believed in living a different life styles, to the ones that were simply ostracized by their own kind, or those that were just unique, it did not matter because all would be accepted. But it would seem that even though she surrounded herself with wolves that would be similar to her, in their own way, she remained as always alone.
Even though Fate had provided her an imprint she would never fully have a partner that was her own. She could not discuss things with Tobias as she could if he was capable of speaking and thinking in a similar way. He was difficult to speak with, mostly because he would only give her one word responses, but she still tried. She was never one for idle chit chatter, but she always wanted to show her intelligence to others, and deep down, she always wanted to learn about things she did not know. He was quite clever, more so than most, and yet she would never fully be able to bond with him. He came and went. He had a mate and she would not trespass on that boundary. She would not demand his presence nor get jealous when he was off with Flare. It simply did not bother her. At her age, and with her type of imprint, she would never walk on this Earth with a close companion nor would she ever be capable of experiencing twitter patter. No one ever stopped to think about what it would be like to be soul bound to a creature that was not like others and yet she took this process in full stride. No one could even phantom just what she was constantly going through, knowing that her other half could overcome the bond and attack her – just as she did to her former imprint Chael. Time would only tell to know how far she could live before the chains between their souls were broken, and who knows then what would happen. Today though she was busy not thinking of her eternal solitude, but rather she was enjoying a peaceful and silent walk. It was the tug in her soul that alerted her that Tobias had returned and she would head in his direction, just to make sure that all was well. After all – she was bound to the creature that all of Moladion feared, and that in itself, was an always troublesome issue.
As always she did not carry herself in an egotistical manner, and yet, it was not hard to notice the dominance that was noticeable within her ebony and dark grey frame. She did not give herself a royal title nor did she treat those that lived within the fields as lowly subjects. No, she treated them equally, just as she wished to have been treated within the pack she was born in, the loner understanding that not all wolves wish to have tyrants. They were a small pack and although everyone kept to themselves they were still capable of coming together should she call for them. Always they would be protected by herself, and Tobias, for Tobias was a natural possessive creature and he would keep them safe. She would keep them safe, because it was her task to do so. Her massive paw prints made deep impressions within the cold terra firma as she walked in a smooth lackadaisical pace. Dark ebony radars twitched back and forth with interest as her eyes caught the familiar figure of her imprint and the appearance of another wolf beside him. Curious she would make her way towards them her head lifting slightly only so she could get a better look at Tithe. He was a young strapping looking male a year older than her first daughter and he held no open flesh wounds or any scarring that was inflicted by Tobias. Clearly he was some interest to her imprint and in so he too would be of interest to her. Cold sapphire eyes glanced at her imprint before she shifted them to Tithe. Soft cold lyrics would pour out gently from her black lips as she stood in front of the pair quite curious as to why Tobias would bring this male, especially when he was unharmed.
“Welcome to Asteraia, it seems Tobias took a liking to you, you must have impressed him.”
