Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

EVERLAST - FIVE - NO ANYTHING

The way her life had went downhill since the moment she was born had left Everlast with a rather bitter edge when it came to events in her life. She had been lost and confused when she had arrived in Molodian and Seline had taken her in with such sweet words. Caring - no one had ever cared about her. It wasn't too far fetched to think that she would fall for such a ruse having never experience the warmth that comes with a sort of care. So she had fallen beneath the bewitching emerald gaze of the female, so strong and beautiful, and in the end the lives of her newborns had been crushed. Nourishment for Seline and her children and a bitter disappointment to Everlast, who had once more found herself in a predicament she had been unable to get away from. It wasn't that she was a little wolf but Everlast is unskilled in many aspects. Fighting would just lead to her ultimate defeat and running, well, it was a thing done now only by the bravery of days away from her captors.

Sometimes the worst sort of demon is the one that can't be seen but lives in the minds of those it torments. All her life she had known that she was not good enough. She was a female and therefore she was weak in the eyes of her father, useless for all except hunting and even that was limited to the most base of prey. There is a fire in her and it burns bright at times, waiting for the moment when it will become an inferno and consume her whole. A hatred that festers deep in her soul, one she doesn't know how to harness. So she runs in that panicked way, harsh breathing giving her away before she lunges out and tries to stop, inevitably careening into the black female.

Tick Tock braces herself well for Everlast falls into a graceless heap, immediately struggling to roll over but the moment the female steps over her Everlast falls still, turning so that her belly and neck are exposed in a clear sign of submission. Her steely eyes, however, flash in fear at the white teeth of the female until she notices Tick Tock is looking away from her. Past her and that she stands over her not in a domineering way but in a protective stance. Her head tilts to the side and she looks at the multi-colored male who is crouching and when he wags his tail at her a sigh of exhausted air escapes her lungs.

She rolls over slowly and crawls out from beneath Tick Tock, tail still tucked under as she glances at the female and freezes. This female... she remembers seeing her. Seeing her arguing with Jaidah and yet she smells distinctly of Asteraia and it puts her on edge. Seline was from there at first and what if Tick Tock was a friend of Seline? "I don't know," she whispers, even though she does, but she isn't sure if she should trust her. "Why do you smell like the plains?" The question is brazen and the moment she says it her ears press back and she takes a low step back as if Tick Tock might challenge her for such a question. She side steps now, closer to the male who has no distinct mark of a pack, though her eyes cut down to see what little remains were left of his meal and her stomach grumbles. She chooses to ignore it for now, torn between uncertainty and wariness, like a skittish mare ready to race with the wind.
