_________________________________________________________________________ Azula was not usually the type to make conversation, in fact she usually avoided it. The little that others knew about her the safer she felt, and the safer her young would be. Even though Corde and Felan were capable of caring for themselves now, she would never stop being their mother and worrying about what could happen to them. They were the only things that she actually cared about. So she was surprised with herself when she continued to talk to Mabbit, the brute she had happened upon. If he had not had the scent of Abendrot on his pelt she never would have approached him, but for some reason she had. And had even started a conversation with him. The female had no idea what was getting into her and why she suddenly decided it was a good idea to be talking to strangers, even if it was a pack member. When she asked who else he had met from the pack, she could tell that it was a sore subject. His plume puffed up in agitation, and he let out a sigh as he rose to a sitting position to be level with her. "The Beta Enigma, and Halina. Very . . . Playful they are. Scarlett must keep them for her enjoyment." The female had not had much interaction with them. She had seen them at the pack meeting, and knew of their names, but that was about it. Azula had heard rumors of Scarlett Nights and her playthings, but she did not think that ranked wolves of Abendrot, especially the beta, were around for her unique enjoyment. Maybe they shared the same kinds of fun as the queen. ”I take it you did not enjoy their company? I have not interacted with others from the pack, except at the pack meeting. I usually keep to myself.” Her green orbs continued to curiously study him as she spoke. The dark brute looked outside the cavern as he spoke to her once more. "So, what are you to them? A soldier? Assassin? Spy?" When he finished speaking his red orbs met her green ones, and she considered his question for a moment before answering. ”Actually, I’m not too sure. I’ve had extensive training as a fighter, so I suppose I would fit in with the soldiers, but I have not picked a specialty yet. I’m open to training in other areas as well. What of yourself?” She continued to surprise herself with her speech. She never spoke this much to another lupine, ever, so why was she continuing to run her mouth now? She shifted her position, standing and shaking out her multi-hued pelt as water from the ceiling dripped along her back and made her shiver.
