Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

Who jumps out at people like that? The girl seemed overly bright and happy and that alone causes Fjall to feel a bit.. motherly? towards her. Or maybe just amicable, but it wasn't like Fjall to be hateful anyways. She certainly wasn't Viora or even Magnus. Sometimes she thought Magnus would leave her behind if they weren't imprints, as he had stated once before in that flat tone that said he disapproved. It didn't matter to her though because she was pretty sure she loved him. She was depressed at not having seen him lately and had made a point to avoid Viora in the mountains - it was a big pack and thus easily done. Not like the female was going to come traipsing up asking after her. She knew Viora didn't care one whit about her but she watched over her anyways because of Magnus.

With each passing moment she grows more bold before this benign wolf, her own lips turning into a smile and her words coming out as a warning that is tempered with caution. Still, she can feel her resolve breaking. She wants to go see whatever it is that this mud-colored female had. Maybe it was a bath and she could show her how to use some of the soap plant things to clean herself. She can't help the laugh that tinkles from her when Viora asks who is nice and who isnt, her own ears falling back as she stands and turns so that the girl can get a look at the scars, long and jagged, across her shoulders. "There are some wolves that like to EAT other wolves! And they don't even have rabies." Now her brows furrow over golden eyes at that, shaking her head in a disapproving manner. "But it's alright, I'll make sure no one bothers us," she says, thoroughly convinced that she could watch out for them in case a wolf was coming. At least, for them to get a head start in running. No one said anything about fighting.

"Ahorvi," she mutters, ears falling back as a look of indecision crosses her face, eyes glancing at the distant mountains. "Ah... I guess I can," she says slowly, trying to make up her mind. "But we have to be quick, okay? I can't be gone too long. I bet I know what these shiny things are though, are they by the sea?" Now that she is committed she jumps up with a wag of her tail and a brilliant grin on her face, thinking that she could show Ahorvi what an oyster and a pearl is.

When Ahorvi begins back the way they came she trots eagerly at her hips, her designated place beside any wolf. "They are not! I bet you haven't seen a pearl before, have you? I can show you sometime. My... friend, Magnus, he showed me what they were and his friend Viora." She shuts up now, clearly pondering over her friends with a somewhat crestfallen face. "Ahorvi, why are some wolves mean? I have never done anything to anyone. I mean, I am not very good at well, anything," she says in a sudden frustrated moment of sharing. "But that doesn't make me BAD does it? I can feed myself now." The last is spoken defensively, as if that should be something a wolf should be proud of.
