Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

aspen.

She’s viciously unimpressed with the coming of spring. Weather is warmer. Her coat is shedding out. There would be more things happening, more life here, and she cannot bring herself to care. Frankly, things don’t mean much to her. Not here. Not in this place. She moves across the ground with the same sort of beat she’s always got-- nothing to see here, no reason to stop. No reason to not keep going. There was a gathering of some sort, so she’d come to see it. She’d rest her eyes upon the group, and her tail would twitch slightly. If someone was to come closer, she’d maybe take a passing interest. Things are strange with Aspen, as they always were. Things… sort of had that theme lately. She can’t bring herself to care all that much. It was a common theme.

She’s different than they are. She thinks differently than they do. She’s not so pleased with that, and she’s living her life out here on her own. This could get dangerous, and at that point in time, she’d shine. Until then? Well, Aspen was out here to keep an eye. She could dip, she could stand and fight. Right. Danger. Danger was everywhere. Fight or flight reflex was a funny thing, and Aspen couldn’t really… couldn’t really think that far ahead. It would be in the moment. She was always ready for those moments, anyway. You had to understand.
