Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

Zelda

Zelda nodded when he had said that Isola was light. She very much agreed after everything her grandparents had said to her it seemed like that was very much the case. She was kind, but strong and willing to hold her place even if darkness closed in around her. Zelda could really look up to her, a wolf like that, and it made her think that someday she wanted to be sure they met. When she visited Diveen someday she wanted to meet her for sure just because how much her Grandfather respected her, and it was her Uncle’s Mother-in-Law so she definitely wanted to meet her for sure. In any case the girl wasn’t bothered that he had interrupted her. Her tail waved before she continued happy that he seemed to understand what she was saying and she couldn’t agree more and was so pleased with herself. The little girl was confused though by his choice of words, not aware of his own inner monolog that had occurred in his thought. She didn’t find him very trying, but then again she had yet to see the trying side of anyone but maybe her sister Midna and she was tolerable most the time she was home.

He seemed to find it funny though regardless and she smiled her tail waving happy to his mood improve at the very least from the somber one he had been in before. That was all she wanted to do, to help others and help make it so that he was happier and thus making himself feel more light. Being angry and jealous could easily breed darkness, as well as being sad and alone. All are fine as long as they don’t grow to great and build too much. That was what she hoped to balance in her friends. Hyrule was one she was certain, even the look in his eyes seemed brighter and happier than when he had first arrived and it was only further confirmed at the happy puppy grin once she was done explaining how when they worked together things would be easier for all of them.

”I am happy you understand, Hyrule! And I think so too, we can rest easy for now knowing the packs are currently able to rest without him around.” She knew challenges still could happen and then there was Asteraia who was owned by the same group of wolves who had, apparently, attack Taviora on several occasions. She had to wonder how Hyrule felt about Asteraia, the wolves there and the one who had removed her parents from the lands and the ones that ruled now. How were they different then? If they all had come and attacked them at home? She worried that maybe they didn’t like her uncle for one reason or another. However she was distracted from her thoughts when the older boy confirmed that she was his friend.

She felt as though she was glowing and gave a little yip of delight at his words that they were indeed friends then his last words about the forest needing help made her pause for a moment though her tail still waved lightly she wondered if she dare ask him what he thought about them. ”Of course I will help you stay light, Hyrule, but I don’t think you would ever go too far. Just in case though I promise I will tell you and help you someday if you do.” She said then grew quiet for a moment looking back to the water then towards the plains.

”Hyrule, have you ever been to Asteraia?” She wasn’t sure how much he knew about her family, she didn’t imagine it was a lot but she wanted to know if he had been here and know what it was like. The forest was her home, but her family also came from the plains in a way, though only slightly anymore it was home too.
