News - 6/19/21
Summer is here and Fall is short around the corner. There is unrest as it stands but, perhaps it is to our advantage. Let no one question our strength. Those who wish to speak on rank, seek me out. If anyone wishes to put a hunt together inform me. Adults or others who wish to rise in rank may seek me out.

She wasn’t sure why she was here? I frowned slightly, handsome features tilted off to the side in momentary confusion. How was I supposed to help someone who didn’t know why they were here in the first place? Unless she meant she was suffering from Amnesia, which again isn’t really my area. I’m a spy, not a healer- how on earth am I supposed to treat that, although the more she speaks the more I am inclined to think she actually meant it in a more metaphorical sense. She spoke about belonging, or her lack of it, her frame sitting up a little straighter at my approach and I suppose that was welcomed. This was my pack after all and she was a guest within my home- it was only good manners. At least she understood them, after all, in Asteraia, knowing who to show respect too really would go an awfully long way. Had I known anything about this female, truly, I might well have been more then a little suspicious of her intentions, as it was however, she really just looked sort of confused. I was hardly stupid though, how could I be, with Pan for a sire? My form remaining between her and the pack land all the same, unwilling to simply allow her to wander about unhindered within it even if she did desire my help to better assesses whether or not she actually belonged her.

Whatever words I had been about to offer were abruptly cut off by the arrival of another, the black and shadowy child moving to place herself between my legs, her head bumping against my chest as she did. She would hardly fit beneath me soon enough, height never really was on my side, neither of my parents had ever been tall although really, one day I was sure to meet brother Rhett- his height putting the rest of us to shame. For now though I remained at least mildly content in my existence, unaware of my new brothers future height. I would have to go home soon though, to visit, Mother would like that. Father probably wouldn’t even notice, or tell me how I could have climbed the mountain better. I smiled lightly at the thought all the same before Nevermore spoke in demand of the strangers single white ear, my own amber eyes cast downward now, eyeing the girl a minute before turning my attention back to the black wolfess with the single white ear.

“This is Princess Nevermore.”

Well- she didn’t look lie she was going to introduce herself, really I didn’t even know she could speak at all, so that was surprising. The things you learn.

“She is our future Queen one day, unless Prince Gunsynd beats her too it. I think Tobias named him, I mean, that’s not even really a name it’s like…a sound or something. Not that I’m going to argue with the King about it I just think it’s an unusual choice. Don’t tell your Mother.”

The last part was spoken to Nevermore herself, a boyish grin, lopsided as always dancing across my lips before I turned my attention back to the older black one as she delivered her own reasoning behind her white ear. She had pups herself, of that I was sure, I mean…..it’s not all that hard to tell, especially with her sitting like that and part of her underside showing. A female running milk isn’t exactly hard to miss. Maybe she wanted to move her whole family here?

“How old are your children?”

Yes, I am observant and really I don’t see any reason not to ask. I was just curious really. Maybe Nevermore could use a playmate, that other puppy never seems to move. I cant say I know Gunsynd well though truly I’ve never seen him doing anything other then say ‘no’ and lie down. It’s like his own talent. As for Lonhro and Singe, well, I kinda like Singe I think and Lonhro, though I don’t think he’s all that taken with the Mistress’ new pups. I just get this feeling. I shook the thoughts away for now at least, amber eyes turning back to the female, the earthen gold of my pelt aglow in the sun.

“Well, I guess if you have any questions I can answer them, this is the only pack I’ve ever been in outside of Spirane. I was here when Mistress Jaidah was in charge and when Jaidah's mate was defeated and Jaidah herself afterwards, I’ve been here awhile, so if you want to know something about the pack I can help.”
