Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Bellatrix
"it is better to be feared than loved, if you cannot be both"

I have always been destined for sheer power. My shorter height and heavier stature bringing to mind the magnificent figure of a great bear. Though I am far from being as large and strong as the creature itself, I imagine that I would be a daunting foe for one. Despite my rough and tumble appearance, I am still blessed with the smallest feminine curvature, and my mind is sharper than most others would think. Many believe that the larger ones are less intelligent for some reason, that their brute strength has diminished their smarts, but it is not true. Strength and intellect go with one another, I say.

I notice the appeasing gaze that Tristan sends to the alpha as his posture shifts into a submissive state. I can only perceive that he has something to gain from meeting me here along the borderline. After all, he is a subordinate, from the way in which his tail had been situated upon first arrival. He is so concerned with the alpha, I realize, as the meeting continues onward. The brief glances sent toward Eden clearly betraying what emotions lay beneath the surface. It is Tristan who questions firstly of my peculiar words in regards to ‘roots’ and I am glad to oblige them both as Eden, too, speaks up of this curiosity. How fun it is to know that I have reeled them both in on the same line.

A glimmer of a smirk informs them of my amusement before I respond. ”My grandfather lorded over the river pack long before it was destroyed and resurrected into this. My mother was a resident for a short while in that time. I’ve come to find an interest in what of my history lays buried in the grounds of Glorall.” I teach them briefly of the knowledge that has been passed down to me in years gone by, a rather proud energy leaking from my very pores. Stella had always been an outcast, a vagrant, in my years of life and to know that there was such nobility in my blood was something that afforded me a sliver more of confidence. If anything, I was proud of my grandfather and my father for being such capable alphas. ”My father was Lucian, the Cavern King of Mirovis, my grandfather was Abraxus, and my mother is Stella,” what I am entirely unaware of is the fact that this young alpha had previously met with and fought alongside my mother while she had been pregnant with myself. ”I am called Bellatrix.”

Such an interesting twist of events it turned out to be.
