Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

I feel that my talk with Jaidah went rather well and while we didn't come to an official agreement, I know that she is in our good graces and I will be hearing from her very soon. I hear the fight for Asteraia has already begun and while I wish no ill will on the leaders of the plains, I cannot help but root for the one eyed queen in my mind, if only because I admire her spirit and perseverence.

I hope that Eden will be thankful for the information. I had a good long chat with Jaidah and I know that she will come back to us, whether to take up my offer of sanctuary or to offer a peace treaty with Asteraia should she meet with victory on the battle fields this time. I know that if she comes seeking a home for now, she will be bringing other wolves with her and Eden will probably be pleased with this, as long as there is no trouble. After my talk with Jaidah, I am more confident that she will know how to keep her loyal followers from causing any harm while in Glorall's borders.

I find myself on the borders of Glorall having followed Eden's scent out here. He must be doing border patrol. Hoping I'm not disturbing him, I find his trail and get closer until I can see the backside of his familiar figure. Already I've started to look up to him more as a role model and I find myself more relaxed in his presence now versus the nerves and intimidationg I used to feel. I guess opening up to him like I did in our last encounter really helped to ease my mind. I wag my tail, sure that he already knows I'm near.

"Eden, I hope I'm not interrupting anything. We can patrol as I talk if you wish. I recently met with Jaidah and I thought you'd be interested to know what I learned." I come up beside him, leaving the ball in his court as to whether he would like to have this talk now or name another time and place for it.
