Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Everlast

I am so glad that Zeus is here and that he would take over for me. There is a firm belief in me that he would watch the child, make sure Seline didn't find it and that no one else would harm it. While I didn't have a great investment in it, I couldn't get the image of my own children in the mouth of Seline, blood encasing their squirming figures. It won't happen to any other puppies while I'm around. Sure, maybe this is technically kidnapping but then again who lets their puppy run around out here without protection? It was like asking for someone to come along and take advantage. It is because I am so overwhelmed by my emotions - not even realizing that Zeus does not share in my same feelings. So I move forward and rub my head against his jaw and when I step back a white thing comes snarling after me.

Her sharp teeth poke my feet and I yelp more in surprise than pain, jerking my limbs back as she comes barreling back at me again. This time I growl, warning her to quit it, glaring at the puppy that huddles within Zeus's legs. What the fuck? I just SAVED her ass. "What is wrong with you?! I saved you!" I shout at her, unable to help the roller coaster of emotions that takes over me. Zeus, however, does not chastise her, instead telling me thanks and telling me he will talk to me later. He is dismissing me and I almost feel... left out. But I sigh, nodding curtly and ignoring the puppy who would bite me. "I'll meet you back here with more tomorrow," I say, determined to make him happy, to appease my friend. With that I turn and leave them to it, stranger and pup, savior and little protector?
