Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

Wouldn’t the world ever be kind enough to the girlish thieve? No. Plain and simple she would be forever stuck repaying the debts and sins of her parents and her own alike. Even when she had the attentions of Marius, it was too easy to see that her love was not reciprocated. Not even felt. Eponine could at least say the lad hadn’t been cruel enough to play pity and take her love a bit, but it the same breath she resented him for not even trying. All Marius ever dreamed of was Cosette, the angel from above. She was everything Eponine was not and sadly, Eponine couldn’t hardly deny that Cosette was a more pure soul. Cosette was better than she ever would be. All the more reason Eponine was bound to get Marius around her finger while the little angle stayed lost in revolution.

Eponine? Quite the incident actually. I was just wishing for a friend to enjoy this view with. Eponine laced a dainty smile across her features but she wanted to scream inside. She knew with every fiber in her being that the only wolfess Marius ever wanted to see again was Cosette. Dear little Cosette. Eponine struggled to suppress the rising growl in her throat. She coughed lightly covering her tracks with as little incident as possible, but Marius barely seemed to notice. As per usual he was too caught up in the past with her… How’d you escape? All I remember is running away. I think some wolves were chasing me, but I got away. Someone must of gone in and grabbed their attention… I still have yet to thank that person, that is, if they’re still alive. Eponine felt a twinge of sadness, she couldn’t deny the feeling of remorse that consumed her at night when she was alone in the depths of her own mind. Her smile slowly faded and was replaced with a slightly downward tilt in her rose lips.

A tab bit subtler than your own, I managed to escape through a few back alleys and per the usual flirting with guards, and a few back stabs here and there. She teased him lightly, nudging her shoulder against his. Marius had never known of her involvement in the fight, she had luckily come out unscathed, unless one counted the numerous times she had been caught in the back alleys by brutes of rotten stature… She had been lucky enough to out with no long term baggage. Eponine wished Marius could understand the raw emotion she held so openly to him, even after such horrid occurrences and nightmares that followed suit. One couldn’t blame her for not wanting to love again, but to Eponine, Marius Pontmercy was her only love and the only polituce to the wounds of revolution.

And what of Cosette, Marius? Did she not follow suit..? If memory doesn’t fail me, you were together when we all began to flee… were you not?

If Eponine couldn’t have Marius, she would make sure the Marius didn’t want Cosette. And maybe then, just maybe, Eponine could have her knight in shining armor. She would twist Cosette into a pathetic little lie, if that’s what it took.

there's a way for u s
