Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

He had been stagnant, quiet, flitting from land to land without settling down. Since leaving Spirane, the yearling had become a loner, living amongst the more wild lands of Moladion. But it had been boring, nothing to do, no purpose. If there was one thing that Victor had in common with his absent father, it was the distinct sense of sadness when there was no purpose to be found. Of course, the tri-colored wolf liked to imagine that him and his father were as different as night and day, but there had been a time when he had been Vincent's little prodigy. The adolescent had no idea why his father had left so suddenly, without even a whisper. It had branded 'daddy issues' on his heart at the very least, and though Victor wouldn't admit it, his father leaving had affected him greatly.

Finding that the free lands had little to offer him, Victor had decided to seek out acceptance into a pack. Not the one he had been born into, because he saw himself living under the constant shadow of his father's disappearance there. As if it were his fault he had his father's fiery eyes- he thought that maybe every time his mother looked at him, she blamed him for his father's actions. Perhaps the notion was silly. But Victor couldn't help but believe in it.

And so the travel-worn yearling arrived on the borders of Glorall, the wind smelling like sea and sun, and his burning eyes looked out over the lands that he hoped to call home. Victor tilted his head back and called for the alpha, his song a deep, yet youthful tenor. He stood standing after the call was finished, unwilling to sit and diminish his already shorter height due to his age. The boy would grow up to be a powerhouse as his father had been, but for now, he was full of the awkwardness any adolescent would posses.

But he had that burning fire in his eyes. Victor had passion, drive, and he was maybe a little bit falling off the deep end, but that was okay. He took a deep breath and prepared himself to meet his hopeful alpha- why was he nervous? He could do this.

Through images juxtaposed, and trapped the archangel of the soul
Between 2 visual images and joined the elemental verbs
And set the noun and dash of consciousness together
Jumping with sensation of Pater Omnipotens Aeterna Deus
