Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

sing the song with the heart of the people

They are young, so much younger than she is, but for a few moments of her life she is young once more. Her body has twined and will ache later due to the positions it can no longer afford so easily. Time has slowed the healing and elasticity of her muscles. Running she can still do - it is a joy to stretch and become free with the elements around her - but it paled in this moment compared to the joining of spirit they had. She does not realize just how pragmatic her life had become until this moment. It is not a bad thing for she spent secretive moments with Fenrir when she could and gloried in the time spent with each of her children, the young and the young adults. Motherhood had, in essence, given back some of her youthfulness.

When Paisley throws back her lovely head to howl, followed by Samhain, Natu joins smoothly, her own voice deeper and aged. She has lived through much and Samhain acknowledges it with a dip of his head in which he receives a secret smile, praising him for his respect. When she lies between them the female is quick to follow, her timidness reduced to ashes in the wake of their freedoms, and Natu sighs in contentment as the girl places her head across her own haunches. It is a motherly instinct that has driven her combined with their completion of spirit and her pale eyes turn to Samhain in a clam, placid manner while she awaits his answer.

"As do you," she purrs happily, her voice deep with her happiness for the moment and he curls up next to her. She does not turn them away, instead pressing her forehead into his neck in a sign of togetherness. While he was not her mate and Paisley not her child, they had all experienced something this day and she had taken them into her heart without thought. "I am Natu," she offers in a subdued manner, turning her head around to look back at Paisely, neither pressing for an answer from her implied question nor impatient. The wind sings a wonderful song for them, curling in their fur, and time, at least for a moment, seems to have slowed to a steady crawl.
