Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

The puppy was perplexed by this adult wolf and the conversations they were having. Answers and questions seemed to be looping around her. Her brows furrowed. Of course Sif was good as drawing, she had been doing it all her life. Inanna did not know if they would be considered ‘beautiful’. More ‘functional’. Her sister was able to get her point across. If those watching got what she was trying to say wrong they usually got smacked in the head with the drawing medium. As they were growing up together, Inanna did have to admit that the pictures were getting more accurate in their detail. She wondered vaguely if Sif would ever care if the pictures were ‘pretty’ though. Not like the shiny stones Inanna had the habit of sneaking away into her hiding place. Mostly Inanna just associated the ‘bad’ drawings with a whack with a stick. White ears flattened briefly, her head ducking. She did not really want to tell an adult they were wrong, especially if that adult were the mother to her friend.

Instead, the pup latched onto the continuing conversation. Once more her tail started to wiggle behind her. Tongue rolled out of her mouth happily. “I like finding things! My mom always smells different. She is a healer, and I want to help! But I usually get sick when I eat things…” Like that butterfly that one time. She looked innocently up at Natu, hoping this was a good answer. Somehow the girl instinctively knew her habits of tripping and clumsiness were poorly suited for ‘scout’ work. Or anything that would require her to be sneaky. After all, she had tripped over a branch and lost her prized rock. Attention span smaller than a flea, Inanna looked back at the spot where she thought she had lost her rock. Two toned eyes looked back down at the stick she had claimed for Sif. A soft whine came from her throat and she looked back at Natu. “Will you watch the stick? Make sure it doesn’t leave? I really want my rock…”
