Zeltzin felt the same towards the wolfess. She was still worried and wondered a bit if the healer was an outlier to the rest of the pack, simply because she was a healer. She was kind and obviously fairly nice and caring, far from what she expected but still nice all the same. Perhaps she would take the time to go and speak with her brother about such things. In fact she was sure he would be pleased to know that such a nice wolf like Nakato could live her and perhaps while they were working together she could also get to know more about the Queen and her members. That was would be helpful too she thinks. If Zeltzin knew this female had a technique of aura reading she would have begged to be taught if it was something she could learn. Something like that would truly broaden her horizons and make her all the closer to be a true Shaman of Taviora that may help to not only heal physical wounds but mental ones as well. However, she didn’t know and couldn’t ask, and was left to follow the mostly grey female to her den.
As they walked she took in all the familiar surroundings. The walk wasn’t awkward but perhaps for Zeltzin it was a tad melancholy. Remembering the days she had lived here happily with her Lucero. Gone now, and she was left with her two remaining girls and her side of the family. She was happy though even though Lucero was gone and was slowly accepting that maybe he wasn’t coming back, ever but currently that wasn’t what mattered today. She passed by the bison without even a glance, trotting lightly behind the female and soon coming upon the den.
Immediately she could smell the herbs wafting from the entrance. A familiar warm scent, one she chose to keep separated from her home den because of the pups when they were little. Now that they were older she allowed some more things in the den and taught them too since they seemed so interested in the healing trade. It was strange though how they looped around another den, the scent was thick of the Queen here and honestly it made her feel a bit odd how she did that rather than walk by. She held her tongue though, wondering if there was some strange hierarchy thing she didn’t understand and it wasn’t in her place to say or do anything. Simply follow behind, tail sweeping out behind her lightly finally ducking into the den.
It was a bit more out of sorts than her own. But if she had been busy it certainly explained things. Zeltzin smiled placing herself at the far end of the den as the grey wolfess started busing herself a bit. ”It’s no worry, honestly I know the feeling. You have a good collection though considering the season, and spring isn’t all that far away to start being able to restock either.” The tricolored girl said tail still waving before her black auds caught her asking about the herbs about.
”About half of them to be honest, Asteriaia was never great for many of the normal herbs like ginseng and even poppy plants do better in partially shaded areas. The lavender was one of my favorites found here and the sage is so abundant. Here and Diveen are two of the only places to find it in large quantities. The lack of riparian plants though made it a little more difficult to find many that are readily available closer to Taviora. Often when I lived here I found myself foraging much closer to home, but thankfully it wasn’t all that far of a walk for them. She explained shrugging looking over the herbs not seeing anything particular that stood out as unusual. Her mother as pretty in depth with herbs especially ones that soothed nerves and relaxed. ”I think a lot of plants might differ in potency and effect. I know a lot of the big common ones but I am sure there are finer ones here that I could have gotten rather than wander closer to home to grab. I just stuck to the familiar ones. Since I had no teacher while in Asteraia.” She explained feeling a bit sheepish. However she got she job done when she had too and that was what mattered at the time.
