Sidriel had finally found her way out of Diveen, simply wandering past the borders and into the forest. She often found herself lost but for once she wasn't scared, simply curious about the lands outside of the only home that she had ever known. Though curiosity had overtaken her she did not forget the lessons that her father had taught her about throwing off pursuers.
Unfortunately, the snow was thick even underneath the trees, and her paws left tiny, perfect imprints that led directly towards her. Something that the girl hadn't really considered. She glanced behind her and noticed the trail, her body freezing as she realized that her efforts had been in vain.
She realized, suddenly, that anyone who wanted to follow her easily could. Sidriel immediately wished for her father or mother or anyone who could protect her for the fears that lurked behind her at every step. A small whine came from her maw as she began to retrace her steps, her previous curiosity diminished by paranoia. The girl was quite far within the woods, and the sun was beginning to set. It was terrifying to realize that she would be alone out here in the dark. In a way she realized that being so afraid was silly, there was no reason to be so scared- she had never even met any of the bad wolves that she feared so gravely.
