I'm used to the reactions of most of my prey. When they see me coming, they either freeze or run, but she did neither and this throws me off my game a little. I have run into wolves that fight, but it doesn't seem to happen very often unless you include a mother wolf with pups nearby or something like that. When I find lone wolves, most of the time they are too shocked and fearing for their lives to think of fighting until it's too late so the reaction of this wolf is enough of a curiosity to cause me to pause, if at least for a moment. She leaps up just in time to save her legs from damage, my teeth snapping on air with a snapping sound. My hackles are already raised and trembling, saliva dripping from my parted jaws as I continue to roar and snarl at her in a blind fury. She answers me back with a snarl, standing her ground and this makes me blink a few times, reminded of Atania in her own fury for a moment for she alone would stand against me when I got this way. I expected her to attack back, give me something to go off of but she doesn't do that, instead only demanding of me to leave. The answer is a laugh that falls from my lips, bitter like expired honey. My yellow eyes stare into her own though I can only see her with one. "No." I answer back firmly, my eyes narrowing in a dare as I lunge again, thise time trying to bite her muzzle or ear, a dominant move meant to make another wolf submit. I used to have this dance with Atania, grabbing her by the muzzle to show her who's boss or grabbing her ear to make her go to the ground and submit to me. The one time she tried to do it to me, she found out just how stubborn I can be. My left ear is ripped at the end because I continued to fight back, even as her teeth ripped through the cartilage. I refused to bow and I continue to do so. Adonis_male_nine years old_entranced by 39in, 190# Devil May Cry x Natalya * sired by Brother to |
