At one point in time, Misty Mountain stood opposite of Rainbow Cliff, and these rose to the sky as the only peaks in Blossom Forest. Since the magical change of the land, an entire chain of peaks rose from the bowels of the earth to become the Culter Unlaeddod - the Teeth of the Gods. Misty Mountain is still of the peaks, but many others exist as well. They run from north to south, from east to west. Atop some of the peaks, snow covers them year round, making the paths slippery and hazardous. Others are lower in altitude and are extremely humid, covered in thick, dense forests with mists swirling between each of the trunks. Others still are bare - naked boulders rising and falling haphazardly.

These chains of peaks do connect many of the packs, and they hold many things to explore - forbidden forests, deep and mysterious caves, beautiful scenic cliffs. However, one must have care - if you fall, it is a long, long, long way down...

Due to the varying terrains, many prey options are available. For those scared of injury, you may find ptarmigans, ravens, crows, squirrels, dormice, or rabbits. The adults hunting alone can find mountain goats... but for those hunting in a pack, there are elk, moose, and Bighorn Sheep.

The Cry of Destiny

As soon as Kahlan spoke, the opposing fae's auds rose, erecting themselves. A moment later, she stood and turned to face Kahlan. Kahlan's suns watched as the fae's ribs expanded largely with a sharp inhale. She held it for a minute before finally responding. 'I really would enjoy the help, if you wouldn't mind..' Kahlan smiled at her gently, and shook her head. "No, dear, I don't mind at all. It will be good to finally be useful again." The fae's eyes were glued on the ground, but at the sound of Kahlan's voice again, she rose them slowly, her arctics meeting Kahlan's suns. "Stay still, this will sting a bit." The fae moved toward the opposing one and moved to her side, her tongue escaping to clean the wound. The blood began to flow, a thin stream, and Kahlan was relieved to find that the wound did not smell or taste at all like infection. The healer removed each of the crusts from the edge of the wounds and then moved away to examine it from afar. "It is clean now, but wait a minute. Let me put on a poultice to protect it and keep it clean."

Kahlan peered around, her eyes searching for anything that may be nearby, but at this altitude, that would not be much. However, near the edge there were some rocks with moss growing atop of them. A small smile curled her kissers and she trotted toward them and peeled off as much moss as could fit in her maw and chewed it up as she moved back to Kanae's side, using her tongue to push the moss atop of each of the puncture wounds. When she stepped back, she nodded her head. Certainly, if they were not atop of this place or if Kahlan had access to more herbs, she would use more. Some for pain relief, some to ward off an infection... But this would do just fine.

"That should just about do it. Now then, may I have your name?" Kahlan lowered her haunches and began to rub the top of her tongue against her leg to remove the remaining moss from her maw. Her orbs fell as she focused on the task of cleaning out the herb.
