Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

Dragonfly yipped in surprise and danced away from the sudden shower she received. She shook her thick, silvery fur wildly in exaggerated distress. Dragonfly bounced up and down on her forepaws when Fritto play-bowed at her and she attempted to flee him with long sideways steps when he popped up to grip at her scruff. Her effort was in vain because of how close they were to each other and he successfully pulled at her neck fur.

A gravelly, joyous giggle tickled her voicebox as she opened and closed her mouth as she twisted her head, trying to get a hold of the side of Fritto’s neck. He tail waved behind her in delight as she finally backed out of his grip and she bounded a few paces away along the stone bank of the pond they were near. To escape him fully and in response to his egging on, she leaped onto the stepping stones of the small waterfall and poised herself at the ready to catch a fish.

“Shall I try chasing it or wait for it to jump at me?” Dragonfly asked him as she wriggled on her perch, excited to try her skills at hunting. However, one jumped right at her as she finished her question! Dragonfly yelped in surprise because it was on a collision course for her face and she ducked out of the way; it landed heavily on her back before it slipped off of her, leaving a water trail that matted her fur down in its wake. She blinked in utter distress and her face flushed with embarrassment; here she was trying to help and she appeared afraid of the scaley creatures!
