The woman walked along the riverside, her paws stepping delicately on the summer-brown grass. She was out on her own on this day, leaving Spirane and her newfound responsibilities behind for the afternoon to enjoy some time to think. It was interesting, she thought, that purpose had now been given to her, purpose that she hadn't had before. Now she had a job on a day-to-day basis, and while she embraced her role, it could be at times a little strenuous. After all, Morrigan didn't want to let Roman down in any way, and so striving to be the best of the best all the time could get a little bit stressful. She doubted that she could let him down even if she tried to, but there was something within her that called her to be the apex predator that she was, it was a desire to succeed, to be at the top of her role in Moladion's political ecosystem.
But for now Morrigan was alone, and she could leave that all behind for a few precious moments. Her ears flicked as her stomach rumbled, in her thinking she hadn't realized the hunger pangs plaguing her stomach. Sniffing, she caught scent of a rabbit warren and began to stalk towards it, dropping down into a perfected hunter's crouch. With her training she had found an affinity for hunting- whether it be wolves or animals, prey almost always seemed to act the same.
With a series of barks, Morrigan sent the rabbits scurrying out of their home, and she picked the fattest of the bunch to pursue. She yipped, feeling an excitement in the chase, her body stretching out and her legs eating up the ground beneath her. It was clear that her body was powerful, though the taut muscle was hidden beneath feminine curves. With a powerful dive she descended upon the poor creature, snapping its neck with one quick bite of her jaws. She gave herself a moment of rest before picking up the rabbit and trotting back towards the riverside to enjoy her meal.
