Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

ALiSTAIR
this is what salvation must be like after a while

Alistair was nothing if not observant, and caught the jest between the two easily even if he could not hear the intonation of the words spoken. He had straightened himself from his submissive posture, although it had made him more comfortable he supposed that it was not necessarily a good thing in this situation. He looked between them both, choosing to hold his tongue for the time being. The alpha of Glorall made him slightly uncomfortable, he seemed a little bit... intense. If anything, he was glad that this was not a solo mission and that Solaris, a close friend of Eden's, was here. It made things a little less tense in his mind.

Although when he was called upon he felt his heart begin to hammer in his chest. He hadn't prepared for, well, creating the terms of this alliance. Alistair, what would you suppose such an alliance would entail? The words echoed in his head and he swallowed, trying not to let the nervousness show on his face. Trying to push aside the anxiety was nearly impossible, but he would have to do it. He would not fail Solaris or Taviora on this day. How hard could it be- he was not stupid, after all. Go ahead, Alistair, what would you propose? There was silence for a moment before Eden and Solaris conversed in a tongue that Alistair was unfamiliar with. It was hard enough to read lips in his native tongue, though he desired to learn Latin, which was likely what they were speaking.

He would have to ask Solaris to teach him the Angelic language but for now he cleared his throat and concentrated on the task at hand. He didn't know what they had said about him, perhaps it was something bad, but he couldn't be concerned about that now. There were things to do, other things, important things. And he was stalling. Deciding to get over himself, he spoke.

"Well, peace between our packs, for one." He started, monotone voice full of the confidence that was absent from any other part of him. "Aid from each other in times of trouble, should they ever come. I suppose this would entail the sharing of warriors, hunters, and healers, should either of us be short on protection, food, or healing paws." He finished, then, looking between them both and hoping that he hadn't been completely on the wrong track.
