It was so wonderful to be home! The sand between the pads of her paws and the sounds of the waves lapping on the sandy shores of the beach. It was where she had longed to be for more sleepless nights than she could count. Snow white body raced along the beach, large puppy paws still making the run awkward, but with promise of eventually being graceful. The days she had spent back had given her luster back to the shining coat. The various colors had regained their vibrancy, the dark smudge on her shoulder darkening, and the cream on her chest gleaming. She had started to come back into the beauty she would become. Her body was still slight. The months of near starvation having taken their toll. It was a condition she most likely would never recover from, her body hungrily burning through anything she put into it.
Paws pounded through the waves with large splashes. Movement that clashed against the blue of the waters caught her attention. Two toned eyes latched onto a tumbling pair and Inanna surged forward. Her teeth bared with her burst of speed and stayed that way, emitting a low growl as she drew closer. Her sounds voiced over Sif’s actions though Inanna did not jump into the fray.
She came up beside the pair, her lips dropping over her fangs, though her growl still sounded. A smile grew and she sat beside her sister’s threatening form. “Who are you?” She asked, her voice surprisingly sweet in comparison to the warrior’s threatening pose. White head cocked to the side as she studied Mihr. “Why are you here?” Her rump plopped into the sand with a thump and her tail wagged curiously. With the help of her sister’s warrior spirit, Inanna was far more openly friendly. Her voice was a lot more conversational than Sif’ silent threats, making the white girl a little less intimidating. Though their words would have most likely been the same, when Inanna voiced Sif’s intentions the tones would always be drastically different.
