Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Morrigan
i'm so tired, i can't sleep
i'm a liar, and a thief

Morrigan was discontented. Her paws remained within Spirane but her heart remained elsewhere, with another who had taken the throne of the pack and left it just as quickly. Tithe was a good wolf but her loyalties would never remain with him, she had been promised a spot as head thief and yet it did little to satisfy the disgruntled nature that had settled over her like a shroud. And so she was wandering- technically still a part of the pack that she had grown to call home, but also full of wanderlust, and a desire to be with the one that she had come to know and love. It was his scent that she followed this day, intermingled with the scent of a boar who had likely wandered from Taviora.

The woman was traveling at an easy lope, eyes and ears aware of everything around her, trying to discern where exactly Roman had found himself, and if he was truly tracking the boar that she had smelt. Inky eyes soon fell upon the form of the brute and his quarry, and Morrigan grinned to herself, breaking out into a sprint to hopefully find purchase on the creature before Roman finished it off. Low to the ground, she ran, eating up the terrain before launching towards the boar with a mighty leap. Distracted by the brown wolf affixed to its neck, it hardly had time to notice the russet devil attaching herself to its throat.

With a few kicks and squeals it was done, her mouth full of blood and fur. Morrigan gave Roman a bloodied grin, her tail wagging wildly. It was exhilarating to be within his presence and all the feelings that she had suppressed came back, full-force, as she looked at him. She laughed at his words. "Always the charmer, Roman." She said, still laughing, as he leaped towards her, and for a moment they were a tangle of reds, browns, and whites, dancing and playing in the crisp winter air.

His next words earned him a sad smile from the woman, and it was clear that she was full of questions- Tithe had told her enough, his reasoning at least, but it still... perplexed her. Perhaps he was truly not cut out for alphaship but then why had he not stuck around? There was plenty of work to be done. She did not press him, though, knowing that he would tell her in time. She desired their closeness in these moments, both in body and in spirit- for so long it had felt as though she was drowning without a line. "Perhaps." She said, moving towards him and running her muzzle alongside his neck and chest in an intimate greeting. "I'm afraid to say it has done little for me save keep me fed. I miss you, Roman, and I miss the gypsies. Tithe offered me a position as head thief and I promised it to him, but I'm having second thoughts."
