Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

It is almost fitting her paws pad towards this place. Moisture coming off of the sea breeze turning into snow. She was not looking for a place to stay or anyone to disturb her she just wanted to reminisce. Her clean nature refused to allow herself to keep any blood on her pelt made worse by the murder of her father. She felt as though she would make her flesh raw in attempt to cleans herself and yet it never changed the image in her mind. Why couldn’t he just stay away? Enya couldn’t refrain from the audible snarl that escaped her maw. Her teeth itched and burned to release some frustration but she was already trespassing the last thing she needed was to be hunted most certainly under these circumstances.

The small flurries twist around her bodice in the breeze, she is watchful and mindful taking steps further into the territory. It has not been abandoned as scent markers still held strong and the scent of other wolves inclined her to believe someone was to be close however reckless she may be she would not listen to anyone who dare approached her. Certainly someone had to be around, it would be foolish to let anyone slip in unnoticed and yet all the same perhaps someone would be observant and choose not to approach; however none of this mattered as she settled into her haunches looking outwards to the crashing waves relying on reflexes and perhaps sound alone to save her.

Quietly, she chooses to settle here as he mind played back that nights events and events after. She had vowed not to harm her own blood, after all she held new blood too. She didn’t understand why her father had to become involved to save a worthless corpse. A weakling that would have been killed by winters cruel hand after she had caused so much damage, it was almost a kindness. All the girl had to do as keep quiet and she just couldn’t manage that.

Enya’s her body shook in anger to an onlooker it would simply seem as though the bitter cold where bitting at her but she was furious. She kept her jaws closed and face relaxed. She was the embodiment of calm before the storm, to touch her would unleash all the anger and frustration from her body and teeth that ached for blood. Enya wanted nothing more than to feel someones blood on her tongue and their body stop twitch between her jaws. She needed to feel someone be punished for mistakes that were made.

As aching as her teeth and angered as her soul she sat still. She listened becoming engulfed in the sounds of the sea. Everyone was deemed an enemy, a threat, a target should they chose to get too close to her. She allowed herself the time to think of the past and reflect. It didn’t still her anger or desires it only kept the calm appearance, concealing her anger for the time being as she allowed herself time to mourn and greave her parents in the land she once called home.
