Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Her song was nice and crisp, and cut simply short so she hear the howls of others. Dragonfly's of course. That little wolf was more of a pest, but at least she wasn't dead or anything. Her little howl was special, like everything about her, and the white she-wolf came quickly to her fellows call. With, reflective multi-colored eyes, white fur, and shorter shoulder, and a peppy attitude, Dragonfly was something this gypsy pack would need, hopefully, to stick together, and if there were no fights, Amber planned to lead it. She didn't know why, it just left right, well, considering what else showed up to the meeting.

Next to trot up with a chocolate she-wolf with almost rusty patches here and there as if thrown on, appearing thin and coarse within the cold months upon the land. It was also clear that she wouldn't be staying long, or the pack would soon be up a few more members. Taika looked almost a brown maroon color with all the mixes, though considering the starter and first arrival, this group needed darker colors. Her belly was swollen and it was clear she was going to have around two pups, maybe only one. Not much in the way of numbers, but it was a good hope.

It was hard to see him, since he kept his distance, but Amber thought his eyes were red. Strange coloring, but then again, hopefully he wasn't named after a mistake like her. His coat was again dark, almost grey like slate, but mixed with a blue type color. It was kindly lighter in parts, almost as if he wore something but the eyes as well, but that was impossible. Thankfully, unlike the she-wolf he followed, the grey-blue-rocky coat was thick and lush, or maybe that was his fighting build, she really couldn't tell. This was a better turn-out than she'd hoped, though it was missing a face or two from last time. But, at least there was a male! Yes, because that was important.

Both females offered a greeting each to her, and Amber sighed. Well, this was her fault, the she-wolf couldn't go back on her howl now, could she? That would be cruel, if nothing else, to the pregnant wolf near by. So, what to do, what to do? Speak was clearly the answer, but she didn't wish to do it. Turning her snowy white head to look those rainbow-like, reflective eyes. Those chocolate eyes webbed and flecked with gold, and those distant, hard to see red eyes, just briefly.

"Hello. Well, at least you are dead, so this is a start. We're missing a few, but the land is nature, and nature is cruel. If anyone has news on the missing faces, speak up now, because I have no news at all on them. I'm sure we'd rest easy knowing their not dead. Don't you think?" the she-wolf's rough, unused, but firm voice was just so cheerful. Just kidding. No, it was actually pretty static. Not one hint of emotion so far, from any of Amber.
