The caves are where it all started. They allowed the first wandering wolves access to the land of Blossom Forest, and afterward housed the monster that had threatened the earliest of inhabitants. The heroes had slain it, yes, but in doing so had also closed off one of the pathways in the caverns, magic blocking one of the many exits to Blossom Forest. But over the years, the original spell has weakened and now the way is clear. What will not only crawl out of the caverns, but erupt from it? The caves now thrum with the ever growing magic wellspring as it spreads out into the land. It is from here that the first vampire of Blossom Forest was corrupted, and it is here that any subsequent vampire will be born. To traverse its paths is dangerous - there is an almost impenetrable darkness, and in that abyss lays many secrets - hidden holes one could fall through, weakened floors, and then of course there is the labyrinthe itself. No one knows what the deeper levels hold - no one has traveled them and survived to tell tales. Not even those who call this place home dares to test their luck by going in deep, deep, deeper. The magic exuding from this place has rearranged the lands - moving packs, changing the terrain. Here the cave looks the same but it is not - it is more dangerous than ever. In addition, outside the mouth of the cave the sacred stones that once stood erect in another place now stand guard. They are colored the most beautiful arrangement of jewel tones, and almost appear to be made of gems themselves, no longer the dull grey they once were. It is within them that all official fights must take place - at the Blican Orlege. Welcome to Drylic Cofa...

Even though I am shrouded in darkness... I wish only to feel the sun upon my pelt

A Promise Was Made

His vocals caught her attention, and she lifted her head to turn and look at him with sad, lonely eyes, and even in the dark, Drizzt's lavendar pools could see her dampened cheeks, the light reflecting off of the wetted fur. 'I'm alone in this world. Everyone wants to hurt me. I have no place to call my home.' Drizzt moved closer to her, not sensing within the fae any malice or desire to harm him. Gently, he placed his small nares on her pelt and pressed comfortingly. "I, too, am alone miss.. And do not have a home either at the moment. That may change, but it is the current state of my affairs." Though Drizzt was a pup, he was smart and intelligent and had absorbed a decent vocabulary from the few he had been around thus far in his life. "I was living with my mother in Malignant Felicity, but it never felt like home. And when my mother left me... Left me alone... I left too. There were none there that I could call friend or family. I am trying to find my way to Moondown Shadows - that is where my dad and my siblings are, but I am lost." Soft hairs parted way as he sat down next to her. No tears swelled in his ductules or flowed from his pools - for his words were a matter of fact. He had inherited from his father the trait of stoic features and logical thinking... The only difference was that Aindreas had not, until recently at least, understood his emotions. Drizzt understood his emotions, but dealt with them in logical senses. He was optimistic that he would eventually find his family, so there was no reason for him to be sad or depressed about his lonely state.

"I do not wish to harm you, miss, so be enheartened that not everyone wishes to hurt you. But once we find my father, if you want to come with me, you will be safe. He is a warrior and is in a pack and surely will protect you if you come with me. Because we will be friends, you and I. But friends need to know each other's names to be friends... My own is Drizzt. What is yours?" He smiled at her and swayed the tip of his tail slightly, sweeping the cavern's floor.
