Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

BURNING UP; CRAWLING DOWN - TAIKA
IP: 108.245.133.46

Eldritch - six - loner - taika's mate - neverland's soul

There is a supernatural force at play within him. He is positive of that. Each moment his limbs grow tired feels as if a new burst of energy settles on him, spurring him deeper into this unfamiliar territory. It was a drumming ache in the back of his chest that demanded him to forgo sleep until his body was on the verge of an exhausted breakdown. Only then did Eldritch curl up at the base of a tall oak tree, nose to hind end, and sleep. He is a jittery creature, full of some indefinable rage and chock full of wariness. The moment that the shine peeks over the horizon the male is up, unfurling his body and stretching, opening his mouth wide and yawning.

Then begins the daily ritual of moving. Ever onward, ever buzzing with some forgotten memory that wanted attention. It tried to break through the haze of his mind, past the shadows of pain and into a past he had deduced was unimportant. A standing pond breaks the monotony of the trees and he pauses before it, forepaws sunk down into the soft soil and becoming damp. A reflection peers back up at him - lavender eyes set in a scarred face. Down his right eye is a claw mark, a scar that would forever be there to stare back at him, and the same ear is clipped, clearly torn by the jagged piece left behind. The same claws had rake down his right muzzle where the corner of his lips met, making it appear as if he has a grotesque smile at times.

He didn't know how it had happened. The older male wolf who had nursed him back to health had assumed it was a bear or a cougar. Something of that ilk. He had told Eldritch his name and so Eldr accepted it. He turns from his reflection, ears flicking back, but his tail remains hanging. It would forever be that way as well. Whatever had bit him had dug down so deep that they severed either the bones or the nerves to it; it was a useless relic now. A remnant from days he couldn't remember.

What draws him away from this spot is not the urge to move but the sudden scent that kicks up in the air. It slides past his nostrils and awakens something primal in him; his pupils widen, his breath comes in pants, and then he is chasing it. Her. Who is she?
