PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

DANCE OF THORNS: INKA & ANY

Jasiri ambled up the mountain path, following the twists and curves as it weaved back and forth. She knew she was making progress, even though the path wrapped around parts of the mountain that jutted out. There were a few dead ends. Dead ends to her, at least. Sometimes the path just seemed to disappear, or it turned into a narrow and dwindling trail. Possibly the most terrifying part of her journey was when she couldn't turn around to go back the way she came. Instead she spent countless minutes carefully inching back, praying to the ocean that she would get out of this alive.

Once she made it to the top, where it stretched flat enough for her to spot some other horses, she vowed to stay away from the mountains surrounding her own land.

She continued further forward until she reached a safer position. Then she allowed her muscles to relax and her ears to flick wildly around. It seemed like a rather uncomfortable place to live, with the rocky terrain and tight air. She breathed a bit more heavily than she had climbing up the difficult mountain. But she could understand it, especially since she lived in the coldest terrain she had ever stepped hoof on.

She stretched out her neck and lifted her muzzle to the sky, neighing loudly. Even though she could just approach one of the horses in sight, she was looking for a specific one. And it was much easier waiting here instead of picking her way across the mountain in search of the mare.
