1. He has Ancient Briton, Spanish, English, Welsh and Native American ancestry
2. He wears three pendants at all times, a crucifix with Christ, Mallos' sun and the tooth of a venaraptor he killed one of those times he nearly died.
3. Tristan is Merlin's favourite boy's name
4. Morgana and Mordred are Tristan's aunt and uncle on both his maternal and paternal sides. They are half-siblings to Arthur (Tristan's Dad) through their mother and half-siblings to Lilith (Tristan's Mum) through their father. Happily though its a little less creepy than it sounds because Arthur and Lilith were in no way related, I promise!
5. Tristan is an exceptional horseman and trainer, thank in-part to his magical ability to read the minds of horses. He is not however aware of this aspect of his magic.
6. Tristan's pony, Hal (now semi-retired!) was named after Prince Hal from Shakespeare's Henry IV.

8. Tristan is fluent in English (obviously), Spanish, French, and Welsh. He can also speak some Gaelic and read and write Latin & Ancient Greek (reasonably) well.
9. Cu Sith like Tristan's familiar Celidon are said to be magical creatures who guard the entrances to the fairy world. As a result Celidon's instinct is to guard his fairy and will always put himself between Tristan and danger. This is also why when Tristan is under attack Celidon will transform from his usual shy self into a vicious fighter.
