aurora borealis- noun plural: An aurora that occurs in northern regions of the earth. Also called northern lights.

In the middle of a dense forest of coniferous trees lies the Aurora Borealis pack, its name coming from its location. At certain times of the year, the northern lights appear, dancing almost magically in the sky. A narrow trail leads you through the close evergreens. Giving into temptation, you begin moving your paws. By venturing into this territory, you are venturing into a land belonging to a pair of feared leaders. You have heard rumors of them...but you decide to take your chances and hope that the tales of blood and death are merely fabricated stories to scare wolves.

You have walked nearly five minutes before you realize the sound of paws stepping somewhere from behind. Deciding that you've made a mistake, you quickly turn around, but find that you cannot go any further. Standing before you is one of the mighty kings you've heard of. His blood red pelt clings over perfectly toned bands of muscle. But that isn't what causes such fear in your veins. One of his amber eyes has a horrid, bleeding scar across it, and his good eye seems to stare right through you. His face is expressionless, giving off none of his intentions. You cower away as his jaws part.

"I'm Hell Demon."

His voice was deep and cut through the air like a hot knife through butter. Right where he left off, another voice picks up from behind you. You whirl around and find yourself facing another male with steely muscles beneath his pelt, which seems to consist of every shade of brown. He had startled you, and you're amazed how you hadn't at all detected his approach.

"And I am Ghost...we're the alphas of Aurora Borealis."

His deep voice was laced thickly with a Native American accent. His own golden eyes are directing a harsh glare your way. Now you're caught in the middle...your breathing has become heavy in your panic and you're not sure which to face.

"You've foolishly trespassed into our territory. You face the one called Hell Demon's whose voice is once more addressing you. Get out, or become a corpse along our border."

It's obvious they mean business. So now it's up to you...take your chances and stay, or heed their warning and waste no time getting out with your life.

Jorah
There is a beast in every man...
...mine is stirring...

All he wanted was soon to be within his grasp. Finally, he had figured out a plan that would certainly get him within Kalgalath's inner circle. The prodigal daughter, it seemed, had returned. And though he knew nothing of her, or of the circumstances of her absence, it was clear enough how dearly father and daughter cared about one another, and that they had missed each other. But obvious, too, was how uncomfortable Blayre was here - was it awkward memories? Guilt? Jorah did not know, but he intended to find out, and to use that to get close to her and gain her trust. And, therefore, in turn, gain Kalgalath's trust.

He had followed her on occasion, waiting for her to notice him so that they could strike up a conversation, but never had he gotten close enough, it seemed, for her to notice him. The brute had stayed far enough back for it to seem as if he was just a stranger passing by her in the distant wood... But she was apparently stuck on being a loner, and did not want to converse. But now, she would be forced to at least interact with him. Kalgalath's call had drawn him out, for the only reason that Jorah knew it would draw her out. And surely, it had. The spy made his entrance just as Kalgalath greeted Blayre - oh yes. It was about to get awkward. What perfect timing he had, it seemed.

Jorah approached the femme on the opposing side of Kalgalath. "Hello again, beauty-...er... I mean Blayre." He flushed in embarrassment of calling the Alpha's daughter that in front of his face on accident. After all, both the adjective and the name started with the letter 'B', surely it had been a Freudian slip. Showing that she was on his mind enough to allow something so awkward to pass from his lips t the most inopportune of times. And sure enough, it was a glare that he received from the King, Kalgalath whipping his head around to stare at him. Jorah bowed to Kalgalath and stepped away from Blayre, trotting a few steps closer to the others, moving next to Chenzii. "It is nice to see you, again Chenzii. Did you know Blayre when she was here before? I met her when she first came back but I have not had a chance to speak with her much. And, if I may be so bold, how is Gwaine?" He was intrigued to see how she would react to such a comment... If she would flush, or deny an answer... And Jorah politely waited for her response but snuck a look at Blayre, sharing with her a small smile before turning his attention back to Chenzii.

...and should I ever slay you...
...your eyes shall be open
