Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Suomi

Eleven Years Taviora Wanderer Stalked By Emry No Soul

Like hell was Suomi passing this up.

Eden, the alpha of Glorall? The dark fem didn’t know whether to laugh out of shock or hilarity. It was a surprise, for sure, but Suomi supposed it was never out of the realm of possibility. Out of the nearly inseparable pair, she had always seen Solaris as their leader of sorts, but Eden was… Well, he was a good sized wolf, and, if her memory did him justice, he had always known how to handle himself rather well. And Eden talked a good deal less than Solaris, which made him far more appealing in Suomi’s mind. Still… Alpha of Glorall. Why Glorall? Why not Diveen, or even Taviora? It just seemed like such a…tangential target.

Whatever the case, Suomi had to see it for herself—Eden, alpha of Glorall. That, and there was no way in hell she was going to let Zeltzin make this trip without her. Zeltzin was pregnant—vulnerable—and, as coincidences went, the pups she carried were none other than Eden’s own spawn. There was so much room for things to go wrong, given the circumstance, and, while there were quite a few warriors that might have taken on the escort mission, Suomi trusted no-one more than herself to keep her little sister safe. While trust issues, in general, had a good deal to do with how she felt, there was also the fact that, while a bit on the small side, Suomi had proven her worth as both a fighter and a survivalist in her ten years on the earth. Zeltzin was in good care, even if she didn’t know it herself.

Despite the surrounding issues, Suomi felt…good. She finally had something to do other than hunt for and tend to her old man. Of course, she didn’t really have to do that, either; she had simply felt it was her duty, and there really was no-one better to provide for Coszoctl than herself. No matter—the dark fem felt quite purposeful as she escorted her sister across Moladion, even if they were meandering at a glacial pace.

An ebon ear turned at the sound of Zeltzin’s words as the pair approached the border of the seaside pack, and Suomi’s lips pulled back in an amused smirk. “No promises,” she remarked, her deep red and gold flecked eyes narrowing as if in challenge, but her voice held a touch of playfulness—something reserved for very few individuals.

Continuing over the border at a languid jog, Suomi kept close to her sister’s side, staying alert and ready no matter how much Zeltzin was sure they were welcome. In every pack, there was always, at the very least, one idiot who was willing and eager to jump whomever crossed the borders, and, if such an idiot were to present themselves that day, Suomi would have given them an equally, if not more enthusiastic, greeting of her own. Fortunately—or unfortunately, as Suomi was conflicted on her own wants here—no such thing happened, and the pair made their way through Glorall, coming upon the very wolf they were there to meet with relative ease.

As he very well should, being in his own lands, Eden seemed aware of the small party’s approach. Suomi surveyed the pale wolf as they neared, finding him to be very much as he was the last time they met, save for the fine lines of maturity which sculpted his being. Straying a few feet to the side to give her sister some space as they finally came to stand before Eden, Suomi felt her smirk return once more as she heard Zeltzin’s humble greeting. “I’m not,” she stated with that same touch of amusement, eyes fixed unashamedly on Eden.

No, she was not sorry in the least.
