She is silent and calm as she stands there patiently, dark sapphire eyes narrowed, as the Monster looks down upon the child. In a way the multi-colored wolf reminded her in a way of her own daughter and imprint. Both of them were more feral than sane. It had never been a problem for her to cope or attempt to understand how they thought or what they were trying to do. One grey-trimmed ear twitched back and forth, as she listened to her speak the name of the child she had befriended. She nods reassuring the girl that the Alpha did indeed just know whom she was speaking of. As she speaks again she sits there, listening intently, giving the girl every ounce of attention as if she were the most important creature right here and now. She was rather curious of the outsider pup pondering perhaps as she got older would she continue to allow the creature to come and go. Her dial tilts to the side as she hears their girl hiss her question and the Monster’s thick fur rises along the back of her nape, instincts alone not liking the hiss. Slowly and softly, her cold voice slides out as she explains the girl just who the Monster of Asteraia really was.
“I am many things. I am a Protector, I protect all that live here be they an adult or a pup. I am a Teacher, I teach all that dwell here to become something better than they are. I am a Hunter, I help provide food for everyone here. I am a Leader, all follow what I do and say. I am all these things, it is called being an Alpha.”
It was clear that the child was not one that came from a pack and so she would need to learn from the ground up. In life there were rules and boundaries. Some were meant to be broken and some were not. Tick Tock had broken rules before, but at the same time, she respected them entirely. After all everyone needed to know what there place was in this world. Some were born to follow, others were born to lead, and some were meant to be simply left alone and allowed to do as they pleased. As the pup came forward the Monster took one step closer to close the space between them. For a moment she growled softly, she was a creature that did not like to be touched, but she would allow the child to do so. For a moment the older wolf would bend slightly, her dial lowered to allow the girl to feel her as she wished. There was grey upon her muzzle and slowly circling around her eyes, the scars that littered her frame and face were extremely rough, over time they healed but left deep grooves. As the girl begins to feel her the Monster whispers softly to the girl just why she was here within the fields.
“If you are not here for Thoth, then what are you doing here?”
