aurora borealis- noun plural: An aurora that occurs in northern regions of the earth. Also called northern lights.

In the middle of a dense forest of coniferous trees lies the Aurora Borealis pack, its name coming from its location. At certain times of the year, the northern lights appear, dancing almost magically in the sky. A narrow trail leads you through the close evergreens. Giving into temptation, you begin moving your paws. By venturing into this territory, you are venturing into a land belonging to a pair of feared leaders. You have heard rumors of them...but you decide to take your chances and hope that the tales of blood and death are merely fabricated stories to scare wolves.

You have walked nearly five minutes before you realize the sound of paws stepping somewhere from behind. Deciding that you've made a mistake, you quickly turn around, but find that you cannot go any further. Standing before you is one of the mighty kings you've heard of. His blood red pelt clings over perfectly toned bands of muscle. But that isn't what causes such fear in your veins. One of his amber eyes has a horrid, bleeding scar across it, and his good eye seems to stare right through you. His face is expressionless, giving off none of his intentions. You cower away as his jaws part.

"I'm Hell Demon."

His voice was deep and cut through the air like a hot knife through butter. Right where he left off, another voice picks up from behind you. You whirl around and find yourself facing another male with steely muscles beneath his pelt, which seems to consist of every shade of brown. He had startled you, and you're amazed how you hadn't at all detected his approach.

"And I am Ghost...we're the alphas of Aurora Borealis."

His deep voice was laced thickly with a Native American accent. His own golden eyes are directing a harsh glare your way. Now you're caught in the middle...your breathing has become heavy in your panic and you're not sure which to face.

"You've foolishly trespassed into our territory. You face the one called Hell Demon's whose voice is once more addressing you. Get out, or become a corpse along our border."

It's obvious they mean business. So now it's up to you...take your chances and stay, or heed their warning and waste no time getting out with your life.

A restful sleep had fallen over the mother of two, her ashen lids hung heavily over her honey orbs. Her breathing was slow and steady, not even the scent of someone new could rouse her from her deep slumber. The hunt, which almost all of the pack had taken part in, had been exciting and fulfilling but nonetheless exhausting. Sebring was the warrior type that Kalgalath was, though she could fend for herself, she was not nearly as well muscled as he or any of the other warriors in the pack. Sebring on a daily basis could be found tending to her herb garden or quietly wandering the terra of Aurora Borealis checking the border and remarking it as needed. She was quiet and demure in her demeanor though if pushed Sebring had no problem fighting for what she believed or for those she loved. There was no end to the ashen Queens loyalty to Aurora, Kalgalath and those who called this place home. Sebring knew that if it came to it she put down her life for this place, but thankfully her reign with Kalgalath had been peaceful. Their only troubles had been caused by mother nature, which was to be expected. Thankfully the winter had not been too harsh and she had not had to worry too much about her children.

The two princes had been curled up inside the den with her and their father. The den space felt smaller now, but only because her boys had been growing and were now teenagers. With their gangly limbs and unbalanced, but maturing bodies. A chilly wind rolled up and over her spine and she shivered at the sudden coolness. Her lids fluttered open and her ears twitched at the sound of her husband talking, Adara is coming. Sebring smiled sleepily, familiar with the name of Kalgalath daughter. I would love for both of you to meet her. And you, too, my love… Sebring felt the second of the twins stir, his crown lifted as he blinked the sleep away from his eyes to look at his father. A lopsided smile lifted his lips and he nodded his head quietly. Sebring knew for a fact it was too early for Castiel. He had always enjoyed sleeping in, but he still got up anyways.

Sebring turned to look at Kalgalath, I will be staying in my love and going to Seraphina later. I want to check up on her and see how she is doing. A smile lifted her kissers and she got up just to give her mate a kiss.

Castiel

A cool, gentle breeze ruffled the furs along the young princes spine. A soft groan pulled itself from his lips, he just wanted to stay in a little longer. Vladimir had other plans though as he pulled himself loose from the jumble of limbs that they created together. He followed got up with every intention to follow their father and Castiel just laid there limply not wanting to move. It was warm and cozy, and it was way too early for this. The ashen prince rolled his head to the other side, a single lid opening to get a blurry view of what was going on. Vladimir had already pushed through the undergrowth and his father was turning away as his mother kissed him. Castiel made a harrumph sound and rolled over to his paws. He stumbled slightly still half asleep, but trying to get a move on anyhow. I’m coming… he mumbled half-heartedly. Castiel couldn’t wrap his mind around how wolves got up this early for no reason. Although meeting new family wasn’t exactly nothing, per say.

Castiel didn’t really know much about his father’s past, he had only just found out about Blayre. And now there was another one, Adara. And there had been another at some point. Aindreas? Or at least that’s what he thought it was. He shrugged silently, nuzzled his mother before rushing out from the den to follow his father and brother. He laughed quietly to himself, seeing them from behind he realized how similar they looked. Vlad was almost an identical copy of Kalgalath. Castiel took after his mother but his furs darkened at the tips to a coal black giving him an reversed ombre look, except for the white the extended down his chest. He was a slight bit of an odd ball, not that he really cared.

Castiel was content to go on about his life, however it went about happening.

The prince pranced after the other two trying not to let the cold air shock his system too much. He hadn’t exactly primed himself for this, so Cas just did random motions to get his muscles warmed up and therefore his body too. It did not take long for the trio to reach this new sister. Their father got excited and rushed forward to her, and Castiel sat back patiently waiting eagerly to meet this new woman. Castiel popped up next to his brother and jumped in straight after his father, And I’m Castiel, Vlad’s brother!
